Once we found our perfect home, Lane continued to go above and beyond. She guided us through every question we had, helped lead the inspection process, and even arranged for a second inspection to make sure everything was completed properly. Reve agent Aaron Ross helped my partner and me find our home, and the experience exceeded expectations. Aaron is one of my closest friends (for over a decade), and I was initially a little hesitant about using a close friend as our agent because frankly…I know I can be very demanding and impatient (who isn’t, when it comes to buying a house!). However, that hesitation was gone once we formally began working together after a few years of just casually sharing listings we liked to each other. Aaron approached everything with complete professionalism while still being incredibly patient and easy to work with. Aaron worked with us for nearly a year as we searched for the right house, always flexible with our schedules and thoughtful about what we were looking for. My experience living at this property has been unacceptable and extremely stressful. Since November, my air conditioning stopped working and was never properly fixed, and during the cold months I was left without heat for an extended period. No tenant should be forced to live in those conditions. Things became even worse when the home was shot through, creating a serious safety issue. Despite how dangerous and traumatic this was, the landlord and management showed little concern for my safety or urgency in addressing the situation. After months of unresolved maintenance issues, I was forced to hire a lawyer just to have my concerns taken seriously. Rather than taking responsibility for failing to maintain the property or honoring a reasonable rent reduction for my final two months due to unlivable conditions, management served me with a 5-day notice to vacate instead. It felt like retaliation for asking them to uphold their responsibilities under the lease. Throughout my tenancy, communication was poor, repairs were delayed or ignored, and accountability was avoided. I did not feel safe, respected, or treated fairly as a tenant. I strongly encourage anyone considering renting here to carefully think twice before signing a lease.

I have many reasons to recommend Jeri Wheeler as the best real estate agent in New Orleans, but I'll stick with only a few. This is the second home she has sold for me over the years and its one of the worst markets ever. She is extremely intelligent, personable, funny, and is an expert realtor with 20+ years in the New Orleans market. I felt like I was in great hands because she is honest and truly cared about me selling my home for what I could get out of it in a difficult sellers market. Jeri goes far above and beyond what she needs to for a business transaction because she knows how much you have invested in your home financially and emotionally. I can't tell you how many times she walked me "off the ledge" and helped me see things rationally. She did this with the upmost patience, empathy, and compassion. I can go on and on, but I want you to know that you will be very lucky to have Jeri Wheeler, the best realtor in New Orleans imo, working to promote and sell your house for you.
