Horrible location!! The gyms bathrooms are beyond dirty especially the men’s definitely need a good cleaning It gets very crowded overly crowded for such a small location all the machines are literally less then 1 ft away would not recommend or revisit this location. Just signed up and so far not pleased.

I like it but however the instructors should be more attentive to what you schedule appointments with them, there was one who went and was looking for you however he left; now the one they have only tell you that you have arrived late and no longer has time for you, but when he gets sick or does not come you can not claim him from the scheduled class. Everything else is amazing it is super clean, it is almost always empty (schedule before 12 pm) the cashier staff and the manager are super cool and super attentive always an incredible smile and energy. I make an update 02/20/26 the couch Naaman Montague is very good at what he does but his rude way of attending is terrible. I greet him for having some doubts about the routine and he leaves me talking alone, I wait for him in the lobby I ask him a question and he goes to the bathroom what’s wrong with this character?

I travel everywhere and go to many PF! The 35ST NYC PF is the best I have ever seen. The Club Manager John at this location leaderships and passion is unmatched. The staff is awesome they keep it clean and the equip is the best out of any PF tons of benches, etc. Thank you John for making PF the right choice

What appears to be a recent upgrade to this Planet Fitness location is deceptive. It has fallen to an epidemic of swapping out perfectly good and ergonomically correct Life Fitness strength machines for poorly designed and even dangerous machines by the Matrix brand. One example… Once upon a time, this gym had a very popular machine called “Torso Rotation.” The user kneels on a round platform, their back held in place by chest pads, and pushes their hips from side to side against resistance. The chest pads kept it safe and effective. To work your obliques, you can’t turn your entire chest. And it is incredibly risky to your spine to not have back support. The Matrix version of this machine, “Rotary Torso,” offers zero back support and is dangerous even at low weights. By not isolating muscle groups, it doesn’t really do anything. This is obvious just looking at both machines. I can’t wrap my head around why Planet Fitness as a corporate entity doesn’t care about introducing thousands of members to dangerous equipment, but it is what it is, I guess. None of New York’s expensive gyms would ever entertain Matrix equipment. (Chelsea Piers, for example, has Life Fitness.) The employees at this location are great, though- super sweet and on top of things…
