My first time visiting this Planet Fitness in Salt Lake City and honestly I was shocked at how dirty the facility was. I walked into the men’s locker room and immediately noticed trash, stains, and a strong unpleasant odor throughout the area. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The men’s restroom inside the locker room was even worse — one toilet was completely clogged with feces and the other was extremely dirty. After leaving the locker room and walking into the gym area, I noticed the floors were also dirty with trash and stains in multiple places. With the amount of money Planet Fitness generates, basic cleanliness should be a top priority. A gym is a place where people come to improve their health, and sanitation should be one of the most important things you invest in. Very disappointing experience for a first visit. I would be willing to change my review if a member reaches out to me and explains why They can’t afford to maintain this place better.

Moved near this location in October and have been working out here almost every day since. I enjoy the layout, the abundance of cardio equipment, and the overall cleanliness and presentation. The staff is awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and very professional. This is a great gym and so convenient for me. Thanks⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Park on the west side of the building in the “air garage” lot. Parking for 2 hours each day is included with black card membership. Pros: it’s clean and has a large selection of free weights and machines. It has three areas with free weights & benches. It’s bigger than the other gyms around town. Cons: Despite the size, It’s usually pretty busy and feels full if going after work. The app’s “crowd meter” is unreliable. Showers do not get very warm.

What a fantastic gym! I travel the country and this is one of the nicest PFs I’ve been to: spacious, clean, friendly staff. All equipment was in excellent condition. If I’m back in SLC, I’ll be coming here again!

This is a very well organised and welcoming experience. This is a huge huge huge gem with each of the workout zones stationed in an efficient spacious way. The staff are extremely friendly. They even prompted us to scan their planet fitness QR code so that the parking we had already paid for would be cancelled and free parking would be allowed. The car park is spacious and there are a lot of signs Peter park however when you go into planet fitness if you are a member or a user, then they will cancel the parking payment and you scanned the QR code and everything is free. Thank you so much for welcoming us to the gym. We will be back.for sure.
