Planet Fitness

Not usually busy so that makes it comfortable when someone is just getting back into working out after a while. But I was pretty disappointed abt them being closed Christmas eve when the crunch parking lot was packed full for the same price. And they should tell you abt the $50 annual fee before you sign up and they charge you 50$ and then 2 weeks later you get a $15 monthly charge. Idk. I'll see how this billing goes. But if they charge me another 50 in 6 months then id have to say 15 a month is false advertising. But ya. I dont see an excuse to have been closed on Christmas eve.

Half the time they don’t have someone at the desk so you’re stuck waiting forever to use anything or buy anything. Today after standing there for 15 minutes I just left. Not happy. It’s a nice clean gym but 90% of the reason I stop by is to use the amenities.

I am new to the area. Just moved up from Florida and do not have my car here yet, it is parked in South Dakota. Until I have my apartment and bring my car here I'm forced to use my truck. Until then unless I want to stop working out I have to park my truck in the parking lot of this planet fitness. Initially I was a little concerned reading another review that said they couldn't park their truck here. Granted I am bob-tailed and just have the front part of my truck here however, on my first visit I saw a tractor with a 53' trailer here and today I see a Panther straight truck here and I haven't had a problem yet. Regarding the hours I had checked the hours to this particular planet fitness during the week and I saw they were open 24 hours and failed to look at their complete hours for the week assuming that they were 24 hours every day. They are not. Besides Florida not many Planet Fitnesses that I have bumped into along my route to North Dakota have I seen any 24 hour planet fitnesses so at least they are open 24 hours certain days of the week. And one last thing I wish they had a lateral raise machine but since they don't using dumbbells and cables for lateral raises and I wish that they had installed rock climbing holds by the pull up bar. I usually like to use that doing pull-ups to strengthen my fingers.

I'm not happy with this! Why should I have to breathe in cleaning solutions when I'm working out? I didn't want to Interrupt her because that might have been what she was asked to do but still. I love the location but that shouldn't be something you do while people are working out. Chemicals for floor solution with no fan or nothing to balance the air flow at all. Poor experience.
