Pause West Des Moines

We had a great experience at Pause. This was our first time - but won't be our last. The contrast therapy was invigorating and the float was so very relaxing! The staff were all great and very engaging. Great experience!

Beautiful space! The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. The studio was spotless and the amenities and features were great. This was my first time at pause in west Des Moines and so far the best studio I’ve been to! Thanks team for a great experience. For reference, I did iv therapy, light therapy, and leg compression!

Very professional staff, educated on the process, very nice and clean facility, the design and layout feels relaxing and private. Very different from any other places around Des Moines. 10/10 would come back again, and recommend this experience to anyone needing self care. The float, to light therapy, compressions, etc. As well as the products are top quality and make the experience transcend my expectations.

Out of all the places we visited for contrast therapy (NM, TX, and IA) this was the nicest and most professional staff of all. The staff was very knowledgeable and the business is well taken care of. We were very pleased and would definitely get a membership if we lived in the area! Excited to go back when we are in Des Moines visiting. For those not familiar with the benefits of hot and cold therapy I would highly recommend trying out Pause!

First time stop for a great morning. My wife choose a visit to celebrate her birthday. We booked the Cryo chamber and the sauna. When we arrived we were greeted by 2 wonderful and helpful woman. We felt like they wanted us to experience Pause and all the services they had to offer. We first entered the Cryp room. We were given directions and privacy while we got prepared. The experience was over the top. We were able to do 3 mins 30 seconds at negative 220 degrees. The chamber was unique as we were both able to walk in and move around in the chamber. The staff that helped us with encouragement and enthusiasm. Wow this was a great experience and we felt amazing afterwards. Next we were escorted to one of the sauna rooms. The room was large with dressing area. There was a large red-light led equipped dry sauna. In the room was a cold therapy tub that was included in the therapy. This was perfect after standing in the Cryo chamber. As a last minute decision we choose to include IV therapy as a final morning of healthy choices. We both relaxed with hot tea that was very refreshing while we relaxed in over sized chairs getting IV therapy. What a great experience, great staff, just a perfect morning. We enjoyed so much we returned the next morning for another sauna session. Pause is very unique with the services they offer and the rates and specials make Pause a great value. The staff makes the overall experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend
