Orangetheory Fitness

I’ve been to a dozen Orange Theory gyms in the last year and Peter at this SLC OT is one of my favorites! He’s super energetic, very good at correcting form and doesn’t constantly talk over the music. I love taking his class. It flies by!

I am an OTF member from the Seattle area. I was in SLC for a weekend and visited this OTF location to get in a burn. Coach Amy was a fantastic sub from another area OTF, and Emerson at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. I know for sure I will come back on my next visit to SLC in a couple of months.

I initially booked a service based on the Downtown location, mistakenly thinking I was at the Park City location. The afternoon after realizing my error, I tried to contact the Downtown location to transfer the credit. I called, texted, and emailed a couple times but got no response whatsoever. They mentioned they were training, but who doesn’t answer her phone during business hours? I called the Park City location, and they were incredibly helpful. The woman I spoke with was very kind and, understanding my predicament, even offered me a friends/family discount so I could work out that day. I was so grateful I bought her a coffee! Their willingness to help was a stark contrast to the Downtown branch. The Unresolved Downtown Credit Issue I finally reached someone at the Downtown location who confirmed they would transfer the credit. Days later, however, the credit was not on my account. I've since emailed the management, and their replies have been unhelpful and unsatisfactory. I am truly disappointed with the way the Downtown management has handled this simple transfer and communication issue. I don't feel inclined to return to the Downtown location. I highly recommend the Park City location or the Sugarhouse location for their superior customer service and management. This review is not reflective of the actual trainers in the location itself

Started at this studio during “Pride”. The Studio was decorated extensively and while in class we were being told about what colors we should wear to class to celebrate. I asked the manager if every holiday gets celebrated in such a manor & she got instantly offended & said she had something planned for the Juneteenth, that she didn’t think I aligned with orange theory values and that I shouldn’t come into the studio anymore. I was told my last day for classes was the 28th & was still charged on the same day hence I told her I wanted to stay for the 30 trial. I asked to speak to the owner and she told me she was the only point of contact. I’ve added the pictures of pride decorations and the last two are Juneteenth where someone had drawn with marker on the glass.

This is an excellent location. I’m officially an Orangetheory enthusiast, and I highly recommend this location to anyone in the area who is looking for a really strenuous and challenging workout that grows with you (you can follow the workout and adjust it to your level, and see yourself progress as you grow stronger). The coaches are kind, encouraging, fun to work with. The workouts are varied and the music is good. The equipment is in great condition. The facility is clean. Highly recommend! I’ve been going here for over a year and I love it.
