Our party had a reservation, so we sat immediately. I would suggest making a reservation and parking is sparse on the street, but there is a parking lot close. The food was amazing as was the service. I only had coffee, but members of my group, had a few of the mimosas, they must have been amazing they had three. I had the spinach folded eggs with hash browns. Excellent place for brunch, definitely will be back.

This place was recommended to us by a local. They were right. It was great. The food was great and flavorful. The portions sizes were large, almost too much. But, the best were the scones. Amazing!

Great place for breakfast and brunch! The pancakes are so fluffy and good, highly recommend getting them with bananas. The chilaquiles did not disappoint, but our ultimate favorite was the steak and eggs. It was mind blowing. Coffee is good too.

Great little brunch spot. Was within walking distance of the hotel I was staying at. The service was great but not as amazing as the Cinnamon Roll Griddle cakes. Seriously, get the Cinnamon Roll Griddle cakes. The bacon was delicious and the eggs were on point. Everything we had was delicious.

We decided to try The Nook this weekend after checking out the reviews, which made it seem like a solid choice. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations. Even though it was a Sunday, there was absolutely no street parking available, so we ended up having to park in the Pueblo Parking lot for $15. When we arrived, it seemed the restaurant was short-staffed. Despite several empty tables, no one was being seated. We were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, but we ended up waiting a full 30 minutes. The hostess—who also seemed to be acting as a waitress—was not personable and appeared to be in a bad mood. Right from the start, the service felt off, but we decided to stay since we had already paid $15 for parking. In hindsight, we should have gone to The Monica across the way. While multiple parties were still waiting, a couple walked in and the same hostess immediately greeted them and seated them ahead of everyone else. Once we were finally seated, we ordered drinks, which took several minutes to arrive. The server eventually came back to take our food order, and we waited another 20 minutes for the meals to come out—warm, not hot. It felt like the plates had been sitting for a bit before being served. I ordered the Chilaquiles, and my wife had the Tamale Pie. Maybe we should have picked something else, but the Mexican dishes definitely didn’t compare to the quality of Tucson’s usual Mexican food. The food was okay, but nothing memorable, and I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. Overall, I’d recommend trying another spot—Tucson has plenty of great restaurants, and unfortunately, The Nook just isn’t one of them.
