New Mexico Early Learning Academy

This place is 100% amazing! My daughter learns something everyday! The staff is amazing and so friendly! From the moment you walk in the door until the moment you walk out. You are being greeted! The owners, the director, they come out and speak! You are apart of the family! I cant express the feeling i get when dropping my daughter! It lets me know i picked the right school for her! We are so thankful for the NMELA and sll the great staff🩷

Staff greets you every morning, the campus seems safe, a meal plan is provided but I’m not confident it’s followed through. I’ve had issues with low staff to children ratio, they seemed to have corrected that so that they live up to their 5 star ratio. They have radios on them at all times which is good in the event of an emergency. My kids have been picked up overheated at least once, either because sweaters were left on all day or the heat was too high. I have observed my 2 yo’s class being told to sit still with hands in their lap over and over again while they take their time picking up after naptime. It seemed like nearly 20 mins of this and they were finally given snacks. My son should enjoy it here but he doesn’t. I see some engagement and have heard the same from others… it could be better. Maybe I just had higher expectations from a 5 star focused program. I don’t have too many options in this area and NMELA seemed to be the right fit at first. Now I feel stuck because of the free childcare, other facilities will fill up fast or neglect their duties. I can only hope for better. They do have some events that are great for the family.

I just wanted to share how much we love this daycare, and a big part of that is because of the amazing coordinator, Erika Riojas! From day one, she has been so warm, welcoming, and on top of everything. You can really tell she cares about the kids, the families, and making sure everything runs smoothly. The staff is organized, the curriculum is engaging, and the children are happy and thriving. We feel incredibly lucky to have found a daycare with such strong leadership. Thank you, Erika for giving us peace of mind every single day!

My grandson goes to this academy and have nothing but great results with him. I could not be happier by choosing this great school. Love the environment, the teachers and staff. Very welcoming and over the top services. Thank you NMELA for being great role models and teachers to our kids. We appreciate you.

New Mexico Early Learning Academy has been a wonderful place for my grandchild. The staff is caring, and the environment is safe and welcoming. What really stands out is their amazing nutrition program — healthy, kid-friendly meals that my grandchild actually enjoys! I love knowing they’re getting nutritious food every day. I’m so thankful for this center and highly recommend it to other families.
