I highly recommend Natures Friends Landscaping! Cliff was fantastic! We worked with Cliff and Laura to find the perfect plants that suited my vision while also being resistant to deer, given the high deer population in our area. I appreciated their honesty and straightforwardness regarding what would work long-term. They guided us through every step of the process. Laura, the exterior designer, was AMAZING! After our initial call, she sent me messages with plant recommendations based on my ideas. When she visited, she shared her vision and was open to any changes I wanted. I give ten stars to Natures Friends Landscaping! I am extremely happy with Cliff, Laura, and their team. Ten out of ten!

Cliff was so easy to work with, and his crew was on-time, friendly, and did an amazing job taming the jungle that our backyard had become.

We used Natures Friends for several projects: build a large stone patio, replant a lawn, and build a gated wood fence. Cliff was good. He went over each project with us and the people who work with him, and was on site to inspect the work. He workers were careful and good. Cliff always answered the phone when we had questions. The work was done when promised and the price was fair.

The downspouts in the back of my yard had no run from their termination points, and the one that did collapsed a few weeks ago. I contacted Nature’s Friends to sort out my issues and Cliff was over at my house in no time. He talked through any prior water retention issues I had, and came up with a plan to future proof our house from any flooding that could happen with big storms. The crew were back out within a few days and executed the plan as Cliff specified. The laborers placed one of the pop-ups a little too close to the house, and without any intervention, the day-of-supervisor spoke with me to let me know they would extend it according to plan, and corrected everything. They also replaced my sump pump, which was not the easiest thing due to a seized grate closure (see pics), and at a fraction of the price quoted by plumbers. I was really impressed with how quick everything was completed, and for a job like this (digging long trenches to run PVC), my yard looks nearly immaculate. They gave me instructions to heal the grass patches so my lawn would look as it did before in no time. After the work was done, Cliff reached out to make sure all was working well when it rained. I highly recommend reaching out to Nature’s Friend for any of your needs — you can tell they really care about their customers, and I will be reaching out to them for any future landscaping needs.

I can't say enough positive things about our experience with Cliff and his company. We contacted him in the fall because we were having some persistent and worsening drainage problems in the yard at our (new to us) house. First, Cliff came out to our house several times in good and bad weather to help us identify the sources of the persistent drainage issues in our yard, which turned out to be caused in large part by runoff from our roof. Then, Cliff worked with the county permitting office to develop and revise plans to address our drainage issues. Though Cliff had to make multiple trips to the permitting office to adjust the plans as the county required, he was able to obtain the permits without any effort from us at all which was much appreciated. Since the drainage solution required digging, we also decided to include new stonework in the plans. Cliff and Elman, his stone guy, made several additional trips out to our house to help us come up with plans for the new stone walkway and small patio. We also had Elman rebuild the walls around our small fish pond and another garden bed as part of this work. We were worried that the work would damage the pond liner or equipment, but Elman's crew was not only extremely careful but also really masterful in their craft. The pond was put back together better much than before, and we couldn't be happier. The flagstone walkways also turned out beautifully. Once the walkways were completed, Cliff and his crew came back to level our yard and install sod, grass seed, and plants. We're new to gardening and Cliff helped us choose plants that would work well in our landscape. The process started in the fall but we didn't have the work done until the spring. Cliff checked in with us routinely to see how the yard was holding up and continues to check in to make sure the new drainage solution is meeting our needs and that the grass and plants are coming in nicely now that the work is complete. He's extremely responsive and we are so very happy that we chose him for this project. Not to mention we've had neighbor after neighbor stopping by to compliment the work and ask for referrals!
