Mr. Handyman of Memphis

Very disappointed!!! I hired Mr Handyman to help my time schedule because I had to get other things finished. I got what I thought was a fair price, but the quality was horrible. I got the space ready for the installer. He came in with a helper and it looked like he didn’t know how to hang Sheetrock. The butt joints didn’t land on studs. They fastened the joints with pieces of wood to keep together. Not the proper way. Each piece maybe had 8-12 stews in them which caused the walls to vibrate and metal studs would rattle. We had to put approximately 50 screws in each wall (200) to secure the drywall to studs. There were areas we had to cut out and add studs at butt joints. I have been involved in construction for 30 years and never seen a company work like this. Needless to say, white drywall was installed where green drywall should go. It is like they were trying to save material money and bids not do it correctly To top it off, the installer told me he had to add $500 in extra material? No added materials were applied and the quality was horrible Do yourself a favor and choose someone else to do your job.

We had the pleasure of working with David from Mr. Handyman, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service he provided. David did an excellent job repairing our flag pole and respectfully replacing our torn American flag. His attention to detail, professionalism, and care for the job truly stood out. Not only did he handle the task with skill and efficiency, but he also treated the flag and the process with the respect it deserves. It’s rare to find someone who not only does great work but also understands the importance of what they’re working on. Highly recommend David and Mr. Handyman for any repair or maintenance needs. We’re grateful for his service!

Kye did an amazing job installing a ceiling fan, a kitchen faucet and a shower-head arm for me today! 🚿 🚰 Everything looks great & works perfectly; I could not be happier with the friendly & professional service I received! Kye even fixed my running toilet for me (at no charge) when he heard it! 🚽 🤩 I will definitely call Mr. Handyman in the future & ask for Kye. Y’all should too! Thank you Kye & Mr. Handyman! 🛠️

I had the pleasure of having Daniel come out to hang three corner shelves in my office, and I could not be happier with the experience. He was extremely friendly, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the work he would be doing. I really appreciated that he went o we pricing upfront. Everything was transparent with no hidden fees. The quality of his work was outstanding, and the shelves look perfect. On top of all that, Daniel was incredibly personable ( and I have to add very handsome too!). I highly recommend him and will definitely be using this service again.

If I could give this company six stars, I could. My project manager, Shae Joyner, assembled a team of fantastic craftsmen to complete the restoration of my flooded home after my hot water tank failed on Easter Sunday. His expertise in navigating insurance claims process, clear and direct communication with updates, and leadership in coordinating the teams work, they completed the restoration within a week.
