I debated reviewing or not reviewing because I don’t want to drag people down. But this was the single worst haircut I’ve ever had. Came in with curls and left with straighten hair and a crack part down the middle. Idk what the thought was. I didn’t come in looking like this, why should I leave like that? It wouldn’t be as bad if I didn’t have headshots the next day, hence the reason for the cut. Tried a new place, won’t be going back.

I work in the aviation industry, which means I get haircuts across the country. The last time I went to a barber in CLT I didn’t leave with what I wanted and contemplated shaving off everything and starting over. I decided to give Modern Man a chance today. I had the pleasure of meeting Elias. He took care of me and understood great grooming fashion. I came into the shop feeling average and I left feeling so confident in myself after seeing the full cut. I will definitely return to Elias and tell everyone I meet who cares deeply about their grooming to visit and ask for Elias! For a crisp, sharp haircut, Sid is the one! He’s the perfect barber, just like a potter who gives every pot its own unique detailing. The moment you sit in his chair, he listens carefully and understands exactly what you want. I walked in with messy hair and walked out with the sharpest, most well-styled haircut I’ve ever had. Sid is the man!

The best barber in Charlotte! I’ve been a costumer of Sid (Said) for the past 3 years, and when I heard he was opening a second location I knew I had to be the first customer! He is a visionary that gives you exactly what you want and then some. Excellent service, with attention to detail and a strong desire to leave you with a haircut that will have you feeling like a million bucks. Every time I come to Modern Man, I leave happy and surprised at how it’s possible to depart with a better and better haircut every time. I would recommend Modern Man to anyone (and do!).
