Pretty good gym! I recommend going during the day because this gym gets super full after work (hard to find an open treadmill). The gym itself has high quality machines, feels very light and open and is clean. I like that they have a water station, offer feminine products (deodorant, tampons, etc).

This gym is the best I’ve ever been to! You won’t find a better group of fitness instructors anywhere else. Braegan and Maddie, in particular, are just amazing. They push you to work hard, but they make it so much fun that I don’t even realize I’m exercising, and I keep coming back for more. It’s pleasantly addictive. What more could you ask for in a gym?

I wanted to support a neighborhood business, but this gym is not a fair value — go to NYSC for fresher/more expansive facilities at half the price, or if you’re looking for fancy (which MINT is not), Equinox for a little bit more. The cancellation logistics are austere and the pricing structure is opaque.

Mint is a great gym with friendly trainers, and I've been a member for several years at this point. The problem is with management. Their billing policies are nothing short of predatory -- membership fees constantly go up, and you can't cancel without filling out a form and offering 10 days notice, a requirement that is stated but is, of course, only in fine print. I feel like I've been swindled. Really sad when I've been a loyal member for so long.

I like MINT a lot and going before or after work has become a regular part of my routine. However, I do wish that they’d spend money on upgrading some of their equipment—check out the picture of this step stool, for instance! It’s hard to find yoga blocks, exercise balls, steps, etc. for a regular workout. There is nicer equipment in the rooms w classes, but you can’t use them if there’s a class going on. Meanwhile, they spent lord knows how much on a facial recognition entry system… I wish they’d invest in their equipment a little more in the main weightlifting area.
