This club used be so great before Covid, but unfortunately, it's kinda gone downhill. The biggest change is that they absolutely oversold their membership because of how slow it was during Covid, and it's noticeable. Parking used to be abundant in the garage, and now it feels sometimes impossible to get. Classes get full easily. Trying to find a time for the pool lane indoors fills out so quickly. They charge you FOR EVERYTHING on top of paying roughly $300 per month for a single membership. Oh you like playing tennis? They'll charge you $45 in the winter to play for every court booking. You wanna take their tennis classes-- great. Spend an additional $600 for 1x a week for 8 weeks, when there are places that charge way less. And if you're interested in going for the outdoor pool-- forget it. Not only is it absolutely crowded every single time, but it is filled with kids and they are there all the time. They have adult swimming after 8pm (when the sun has set) and only have very few selected hours for adults only. I kid you not, I went to Hamlin Park to the pool just to test it out and it was (1) less crowded (2) kids were on one side of the pool and plenty of space for adults. And it's free. The kids are what essentially made me quit this gym and I could not be happier elsewhere. This gym has made itself into a family gym because they charge more for their family memberships. And let me remind you, these are not regular kids. These are kids from rich families that have no boundaries, no manners, and scream at every little inconvenience. You will hear them everywhere. If you don't have kids, do yourself a favor and either to go to East Bank or Lifetime. Way better experience. If you like Tennis, I'd recommend doing Tennis on the Lake, that is cheaper and an overall better experience. Midtown is just not it.

Up until 3 months ago it was great. In the last 2/3 months it has been totally oversubscribed. Not enough equipment/machines for the amount of people. Towel service now runs out because people take 3 or 4. 12 to 15 guys in the sauna. Guys shaving/shaving their head in the sauna & steam rooms. People sitting around taking up equipment not working out in a timely manner. It is now an AWUFUL place to work out.

They manipulated my son to sign annual membership without even explaining that to him. They are charging him 209 every month even though he is not going there. He wanted to try this gym for a month and ended up with annual membership that he can not cancel. Be aware of singing agreement with them. Life time is a better choice

My experience at Midtown has been amazing. Good amount of workout machines, very clean, great staff, great cocktails for those days 😀. The staff at the the front desk lobby makes me feel welcome at all the time. The staff at the spa is wonderful, my hairstylist Rebecca she AWESOME!!! I would love to try all the classes, but I’m too busy, hopefully one day though 😉. Thank you to the team who makes all the things possible and kept us safe and healthy throughout the pandemic. THANK YOU!!
