Hired the movers to move my house, And during the move, the two gentlemen dropped my gun safe Destroying the floor in my home that I was selling due to negligence. Then the Movers advised I needed to file a claim for the floors to be repaired. I did so and after almost a month, they declined the claim stating that the damage was less than $500 which it was not. Extremely poor communication when it came to the claim. You would be better off, asking your neighbors to help you move.

Mid Atlantic Moving was very professional and customer oriented. The team was friendly and curtious in making the move pleasant. I was impressed how they packaged and wrapped the furniture to protect from getting damaged. I would recommend them to everyone.

Jamar Lemons and Michael Smith were fantastic. They were very professional, and once we got to talking to them, we would joke around and have a good time while they were still working as fast as possible. When they realized some of the stuff we wanted to move was not on their inventory list, they quickly moved to rectify the issue with management, so they were very adaptable as well. Also, none of our stuff was damaged as they took very good care of our things. Fully recommend!

Please do not use this company to move. My biggest complaint? My midcentury side table completely collapsed as it was placed in our new home. A planter is cracked. I’m grateful that not more of our stuff got broken… but none of it should have broken in the first place. We’re paying you to move our belongings with care. They complained out loud numerous times. We asked them to put our pelotons in the basement (which happens to pass through a bathroom) and I heard one of them say to another, “we have to go through the shitter to get to the basement”. SO unprofessional. They didn’t have any blankets to move large pieces of furniture so we had to give them our duvet to be dragged across the floor. They left drink cans outside. We labeled all of our boxes but they asked us where every single one went. They placed furniture down crooked. We had SO much work to do once they left. And we ended up having to pay extra because they underestimated the time it would take. I have had some seamless, stress-free moving experiences and this was not one of them. Strongly do not recommend.

Excellent service for a local move. The crew went to every effort to protect furniture including some heirloom pieces, and were able traverse narrow doors, many stairs without any damage to furniture and other items. They were able to fit everything in the 4 BR house plus some lawn equipment in the one truck. Very pleasant and hardworking crew that took few breaks on a hot 85+ day. Some other movers quoted lower, but if you read their reviews you will see they don’t take care of the contents as well as Mid-Atlantic.
