The haircut was fantastic, but the professionalism just isn't there. The website has times listed for each day and I scheduled an appointment for a Saturday. Sonia decides to cancel the appointment without giving a reason, less than 45 minutes before the appointment. Apparently she's not there on Saturdays and Sundays, which seems to be a lie since my last appointment with her was on Saturday. Last time she had to cancel an appointment due to an emergency on her end, which was completely fine with me, but this time it seems like an arbitrary cancellation. It's not a very good way to operate a business IMO. I've never been to any place that's done something like this before. If you value your time, I'd go elsewhere. PS: If you book online, just know that there's no hot towel shave or cleanup with a haircut. I didn't receive that service the last time I got a haircut, so the website seems to be wrong.

Sonia gave us some wicked, cool cuts! Very professional, outgoing, and a great attentive listener. We live nearby and we walked on over. I loved her personality!

I was in town for a brief stay and needed a haircut. I am fairly particular about my hair so trying to find a new barber was tricky. However, Sonia did not disappoint. She is incredibly talented at what she does and absolutely exceeded my expectations. The conversation was easy and not awkward at all. She’s incredibly personable and kind. The only problem is that now I have to drive 2 hours to come see my favorite barber. Best haircut I’ve ever had. Thanks Sonia!

I’ve been to just about all of the barbershops in Kerns and the surrounding area, and have been really happy to settle on Looks Lab for my regular cut. Sonia is talented and has such good energy to be around. The shop is well designed and maintained, and is a great space to visit. I also love how convenient the location is, with a lot of great coffee shops to stop by on your way back from a cut. Speaking of the haircuts, really great work! Sonia takes her time and makes sure to nail the details as well as offer excellent advice when asked. If you’re poking around Google Maps reviews looking for your the best barbershop in the area, I can save you some time—you just found it 👍🏻👍🏻.

Sonia did an amazing job from start to finish! Beyond being personable, warm, and super accommodating, her skillset is so fine tuned! She understood my vision exactly and tackled it in under a half hour so I could make it to work with time to spare! :)
