Looking for a new personal trainer, want to try it out? Charlie Anzaldo, is an experienced trainer, having very positive results with him. Makes me feel comfortable when I am there, non judgmental. I am 70 years old and he is 23 and it is still comfortable. The workouts are appropriate and he keeps them interesting. Today's work out was exceptional.

I love Lloyd Athletic Club! It’s great to support a small business like this. Their facilities are the perfect size, their equipment is well maintained, they take great pride in keeping the place clean, and communication is excellent. I don’t do classes but I’m sure they are great. It’s a wonderful group of people that workout here, and they take real efforts to be inclusive and give everyone a place they can feel good about being in. The price is great too - it’s a very good value.

This has been a great gym for me to establish a consistent routine. A comfortable and spacious place to work out and use the sauna/newly restored hot tub (huge asset that LAC supplies towels for the locker room). Friendly and hardworking staff. I am very satisfied with my membership and so appreciative of my trainer Tara, who I highly recommend. Other members are respectful and easy to interact with when needed but mostly are focused on their own routines. Sometimes I even finish my session with a beer (the tap lines taste clean and the beer is fresh) and relax watching whatever sport is on the tv.

I’ve been going to Lloyd Athletic Club for a year now and have really enjoyed my experience! There are tons of machines and weight options and a lot of space to accommodate all of their members during busier times. The staff is also so friendly! I lost one of my headphones (it fell into the stair machine) and they helped me retrieve it within a day! The person at the front desk told me Khino was the one to find it- so big thank you to Khino!! highly recommend this gym if you’re living in the area :)

This place is the best. I never liked gyms before I found LAC! It's clean and spacious, there are so many fun classes & activities, all the machines & equipment you could need, and I love the sauna + hot tub + steam room. And the staff is GOLD. Everyone is so kind, and they create such a welcoming, down to earth, supportive environment. Recently I made a mistake with my locker rental, and Khiro helped me get it sorted out with total ease, and he was super understanding, patient and gracious. I'm so grateful for this place, it's legit one of my favorite things about living in Portland.
