LifePrep has been such a warm, loving, and nurturing place for our daughter. From day one, the care and attention she received made us feel completely at ease. We’ve seen so much growth and progress in her, socially, emotionally, and developmentally, and it’s been amazing to watch her confidence blossom. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful that our daughter was able to be part of such a caring environment that truly feels like a second home.

Our time at Life Prep has truly been wonderful. As my daughter prepares to leave and start a new school in January, I feel so grateful for the foundation she received here. Ms. Centita and all of the teachers are absolutely amazing. Life Prep represents a classic school experience; an ideal mix of what parents loved growing up, combined with a modern, education-first approach. My daughter arrived at Life Prep as a little one and is leaving confident, capable, and truly ready for “big girl school.” For families in the Patterson Park, Canton, and Highlandtown areas; and honestly, anywhere in Baltimore; I can’t recommend Life Prep enough. Care begins at age two and continues until your child is ready for kindergarten, which makes it such a special and supportive place for early learning. 10 out of 10—highly recommend

My daughter has attended Life Prep for the last 3 years and it has been amazing. She went from not wanting to go, to not wanting to leave. Ms.Cenita is awesome and has done great making my baby feel comfortable. She’s now ready for kindergarten.

Life Prep ELC has been an integral part of our family's life for the past 3 years. My oldest son started attending when he was 2.5 years old, and now at 5 years old, he will be graduating from Life Prep for kindergarten. My younger son also started attending when he was just over 2, and he's been there for 6 months now. Both of my sons are nurtured, valued, and encouraged to grow! Facilities: the space is bright and cheery, clean, well-organized, and decorated with kid-friendly decor, including their own art work! Curriculum: When my son first started here at 2.5, I'd ask questions like "Did you have a good day today?" or "What did you do today?" He'd respond with an enthusiastic "Yes!" or "I played today!" Life Prep encourages learning through play-based activities, yet, I'm always amazed by what new skills my kids learn each day, whether it's learning how to be empathetic or learning to count to 100! I'm confident my older son is more than ready for kindergarten with his early literacy and numeracy skills, but more importantly with his social and emotional skills. Staff: The staff at Life Prep are genuinely caring and attentive. Both of my sons speak positively and warmly about each of the teachers. I appreciate how they communicate with parents regularly, providing photos and messages through the Brightwheel app and sending monthly newsletters. Overall Experience: My children have blossomed at this school. They look forward to the various weekly adventures and come home excited to share what they’ve learned. We are so grateful to have found this wonderful school!

My son attended Life Prep for 18 months before transitioning to Kindergarten. If we could have stayed there, we definitely would have love to do so! We’re so happy that we found this center, it was a great fit for our child and family! Not only did he learn at Life Prep but he was nurtured! He was able to learn in an environment that was comfortable for him and met his needs. The staff is loving, compassion, professional and attentive. The communication between staff and parents is stellar even by having parent/teacher conferences. They complete a wide array of learning activities, local field trips and even play dates. The meals provided are nutritious and they offer a variety of items to expose the children to different foods. We’re grateful for our time at Life Prep and beyond pleased with our experience especially knowing that our child is ready for Kindergarten. He was sad to leave and frequently talks about his classmates and teachers but we know that’s because he was in a great place and loved being there Most importantly we were happy to support Life Prep as a local/small business that is owned and operated by a black woman. She cares about the community surrounding the center, by supporting other local businesses as well as engaging with other community resources and building partnerships. We highly recommend that consider Life Prep Early Learning Center!
