An outstanding childcare center. The staff are kind, reliable, and highly professional. Our son has thrived emotionally and socially since joining, and we feel completely confident leaving him in their care. Excellent communication, a nurturing environment, and genuine attention to each child make this the best childcare we have had. Highly recommended.

Learning Leaf has been absolutely incredible for our daughter, and we have nothing but positive things to say. We started her off at 5 months old, and the only reason we are leaving Learning Leaf after a year is because we are moving to the suburbs. The facility is beautiful, with lots of sunlight (unlike some other daycares in the area), and the hours that the daycare is open were also very convenient for us. The teachers are truly incredible and took a genuine interest in our daughter's milestones. They helped our daughter with the transition to solid foods, helped her crawl, and were so excited to tell us when she started walking, and they would literally cheer her on when she would try to walk to me when I picked her up at the end of the day. They even took videos for us to show us her progress during the day and were genuinely proud of her. Ashley and Giselle (management) are incredible as well, with great communication, and I love that they know the names of all the parents and all the kids. I don't have a single negative thing to say about Learning Leaf, and we will miss it dearly once we move out of DC!!

Our family has been so thrilled with Learning Leaf! We transferred from another childcare facility in April 2023 and it has been smooth sailing ever since. I am really grateful we made the transition as the last few months have been so blissful - Learning Leaf is like an urban oasis for DC childcare. Our daughter is in the 2's class, she loves her teachers and her knowledge has blossomed exponentially. We have witnessed the teachers' kind and compassionate methods, the curiosity they spark through their teaching, and the fun they encourage through play. The meals they serve are so fresh, nutritious, and delicious. The owner Ashley puts so much thought into ensuring all children are thriving physically, mentally, and emotionally, and her hard work is so appreciated. She's cultivated a gorgeous center and Learning Leaf has our highest recommendation for any parents looking!

Learning Leaf is the only child care center I would trust with my children’s care. My youngest daughter started at Learning Leaf over a year ago and she fell in love with the space and her teachers instantly. The keypad secured facility is clean, filled with natural light, and beautifully decorated. We are greeted warmly every day and always made to feel at home! Learning Leaf’s owner and director, Ashley, is very hands on. She takes time bond with our children and makes parent concerns her top priority. We get clear and complete communication from her and our teachers regularly. Personally and professionally, being a part of this school community is a breeze! If you can get a spot at Learning Leaf for your little ones, take it!

My son has started his daycare journey at 4month old at Learning Leaf. It is now his second home, he loves his school, his teachers and his friends. He has been there for more than 2 years, and still love this amazing place and the responsiveness of the staff and the director. As a parent, we receive daily pictures and program. they do a lot of learning and development activities. They also provide healthy snacks and meals which is a must for us.
