Can't say enough nice things about Daisy. I came here for the first time a few months ago to get my (short 4c) hair colored, so I had a quick consultation with Daisy first. Very nice, chill vibes in the shop overall but Daisy was really, really great. Super friendly and great at explaining my options. And when I did come back for full color service PHEW she had me lookin real good. Got my color touched up about a month later and had a great time then too - she's a lot of fun! Definitely recommend checking out the shop, and for sure go with Daisy if you've been thinking about dyeing your hair.

DAISY is best!! I just want to say that I have been bringing my son to the Lady Clipper barber shop for about 5 years and have ALWAYS gotten excellent service from Daisy. She is personable, gentle and fast. My son won't let anyone else cut his hair!! She is wonderful and fast and amazing with kids! She has good imagination to make the haircut fun and memorable for anyone who will want to look their best with her. She has experience with all kinds, lengths and grades of hair.You will love your experience and come back again for sure!!

I really enjoy going to Lady Clipper. Great people. Daisy’s my barber and she’s really talented and personable. And, she’s a great singer! I’ve been her client for several years and I always come out of the shop sharp. As an upcoming appointment draws close, it’s great to know that she’ll be cutting my hair, so I’ll come out looking great.

Lady Clippers is one of the best barber shops in DC! I’ve got my hair cut there for the last couple of years and I never plan to leave. Shoutout to my current barber Erinn, who does an amazing job consistently and is super welcoming and kind. The owner Lesley is amazing and makes sure everyone has a great experience and she helped accommodate my needs to make sure the space worked for me. The shop is super LGBTQ+ friendly, and as someone who had never been to a barbershop before, they have a super welcoming environment. Love to support a Black woman owned business—Lady Clippers is truly one of a kind! I recommend it to anyone I know looking for a barber in DC.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience at Lady Clipper Barber Shop. Erinn did an amazing job with my haircut. I especially appreciate that she honored my request for a scissor cut and then politely asked if she could use clippers for some final shaping. While the cut is shorter than I usually prefer, I am delighted with the result, especially considering we were working with very uneven lengths after I cut off about three feet of sisterlocks a couple of weeks ago. This was my first haircut in over nine years! I was initially hesitant to visit, despite several friends' recommendations although without a specific stylist’s name. However, after speaking with Lesley, the owner, I immediately felt comfortable. She recommended Erinn, which aligned with who I was considering after checking the website. I've attached photos of how my Sisterlocs looked before I cut them two weeks ago and the cut today. I only regret we didn't take "before" pictures of my hair right before the cut today. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit! If you're considering visiting Lady Clipper, I highly recommend it!!!
