The BAD: This gym is seriously very dirty. I respect the cleaning staff but management needs to dedicate more time to deeper cleans of the machines across the gym. It was quite shocking how filthy some of the equipment is with spots that haven’t been mopped or vacuumed in seemingly years (not a joke). The sauna pretty much stays consistently broken at this club which is a huge reason for me having the membership in the first place. Ive been on the brink of switching gyms for how often its been broken and for how long it stays broken at a time. The staff will blame it on members for pouring water on the heater, which may be true, but it just breaks way too often for that to be the issue. From the day this gym was built the sauna had it’s problems and over a decade later it’s still the exact same thing. No other gym seems to have a sauna that’s broken down as much as this LA does. Moreover, the sauna is just filthy as well. For about a week period the staff used to dedicate an hour of the day to spray it down which was great, but that stopped shortly after starting. That pretty much sums up my complaints with this club. You get what you pay for really… and considering its one of the cheaper memberships around, that doesnt say much. It just really does surprise me how dirty this club is… The GOOD: A Ball court which rotates into volleyball on occasion is a nice touch. Equipment is solid. Not the greatest youll ever see, but its good. Very large facility. Goodlife across the street is more expensive and roughly 2/3rds of the size. Classes are fine. I really dont write reviews, i just was hoping management or corporate even would come across this and finally do something about the sauna and cleanliness. The sauna is my own personal thing which keeps me coming to this gym and is a non negotiable, but the cleanliness… thats something that every single member cares about and this gym is sub par AT BEST.

I recently returned to the city and was searching for a new gym membership that offered great equipment, clean facilities, and a welcoming environment. He took the time to give us a full tour of the Burlington North facility, explained all the amenities, and went over the membership options in a clear and professional way. His knowledge, friendliness, and no-pressure approach made the decision extremely easy. I was completely satisfied and signed up on the spot. If you’re looking for a fitness facility with great customer service, modern gym equipment, group classes, personal training options, and a clean, well-maintained workout environment, I highly recommend visiting LA Fitness Burlington North and asking for Josh. Switched to LA Fitness a few months now due to moving to different work locations and finding out that that LA have multiple locations that would easily facilitate that. Besides, they are budget friendly and have great menbership packages to choose from. Josh, the Manager, was amazing at helping to pick the right membership package for us. Appleby and Dundas location, on the North Eastern corner is a huge facility that did not disappoint. They have a lot of equipment, multiple for the popular ones, and a great variety to use depending on your work out requirements. Huge spaces for aerobic machines, spinning, Zumba classes, floor-work a basketball/volleyball court, women's only work out rooms and a decent sized pool. The staff is always friendly and welcoming! Happy with the switch to LA Fitness.

We visited this LA fitness in this location while in Toronto on a trip, and the experience was great. The staff here are incredibly helpful and professional. A special shout-out to Josh, who assisted us in setting up our free passes. He truly goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and supporting visitors.
