Bianca did an amazing job helping me with my fitness goals. She’s knowledgeable, attentive, and truly cares about making sure you’re doing things the right way. She took the time to understand where I was at, adjusted things when needed, and kept me motivated throughout the process. I felt supported, challenged, and confident in the plan she put together. Highly recommend working with her if you’re serious about improving your fitness.

LA Fitness does not care, sadly. The front desk is friendly, but the management has failed in the men’s Locker room. Unsanitary conditions, Never soap in the shower dispensers, the Sauna door is broken, shower stalls are filthy. See pictures. Who is managing this location or is this on Corporate?

This gym has been known for a long time to be run down and nasty for many years. Decided to give it another shot because reviews mentioned a “renovation”. Let me be perfectly clear. THIS GYM WAS NOT RENOVATED. It is still in the same condition it was in 10 years ago. Yes they put in an astroturf. Wow, great - the rest of the gym is awful. Everything is worn down, from the machines to the flooring and especially the locker room. You can tell nothing is cleaned regularly. Men’s locker room is completely destroyed. Many of the lockers are broken, missing, or smashed. Sauna is “under repair” which is code for “not reopening”. The second you walk in you’re hit with a stench that permeates throughout the whole gym. I’ve been to this gym three times since I rejoined. All three times I walked out. Committing to two months to this gym was the biggest waste of money. I joined another gym and considered my membership here a loss. There are a few more nicer gyms in Midtown - please look into ANY option but this LA Fitness.

Management has to do better with contingency planning. This morning I along with several others arrived early to workout and was met with a closed location nearly an hour after it was supposed to be open. I get things come up but there should have been a backup available to open within the hour. If a late payment on my end would be unacceptable, an extremely late opening is unacceptable on my end. Have to do better.

LA Fitness in Midtown is a solid gym with plenty of space and a wide range of equipment to cover almost any workout routine. The cardio machines and weightlifting areas are well maintained, and the basketball court and pool are nice additions if you want variety. It does get crowded during peak hours, which can make it harder to find a bench or machine, but outside of those times it’s usually manageable. The staff is friendly, and the facilities are kept clean, though the locker rooms could use a bit more attention at times. Overall, it’s a convenient and reliable spot to stay consistent with your workouts.
