I’ve been coming to this gym for 10 years now a lot has changed since the start . Now more fees less activity. The staff is always friendly for the most part . Issac being my favorite member of the team he deserves more recognition for his performance over the years. Omg and looove Emma she is so awesome. Wish they would bring back the fun things tho and better cleaning materials. Maybe even open up the kids workout studio. Not 5 stars just yet.

I really like this LA Fitness I’m unhappy with the pool. It really needs to be cycled and cleaned thoroughly. If you look closely, you will see a lot of things floating in the water. Sometimes the water is cloudy, and there seems to be fungus growing, at the bottom of the pool where the stairs are, when you enter, and along the wall, which looks very disgusting. The staff members are extremely nice and friendly. I think management should give attention to the pool draining all the water have it thoroughly disinfected and start over. at 8 o’clock in the morning, it really should not look like that

The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about on how to use what gym equipment to help you achieve your desire goal. I love to attend their silver sneakers classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Grosse Pointe location. When Angela, Lynette, and Sharon are the instructors I always leave feeling like I have had a very good workout.

PLEASE emphasize more focus on cleanliness and sanitation on a regular basis. In the men’s locker room, there is mold in the showers, the sauna floor is never cleaned and is disgusting, the soap dispensers are almost always empty, the toilets are filthy… I could go on and on. As for the equipment, machines have been broken down for months, or are actively coming apart. Most of the equipment is caked with dust and sweat- never clean. For a gym neighboring a hospital, you would think this location would abide to a higher standard. Management needs to do a better job at enforcing the cleaning schedule here, or hire more sanitation workers.

I like this gym, but it is a little pricey. Some of the equipment is older and shows wear. The environment is not as uplifting as some other gyms, but that may work for some people. Overall, I go because it’s close to home and I make an effort to come consistently. If you prefer a gym where people mostly keep to themselves, this would be a good fit.
