LA Fitness

Unfortunately, the Farmington location is poorly maintained. I am now seriously considering switching to Edge Fitness. This LA is generally clean, but broken things are never addressed with any urgency and stay broken/unusable for months at a time. You ask someone at the front desk about it and they have no idea whats going on. I emailed the gym via the app, no response. Not fair to the members who continue to pay. Especially when there are so many competitor gyms in the area. I cannot imagine the lies they've been telling people who are touring this gym and considering joining.

This gym is very small, which affects the overall experience. The workout area is compact, with equipment placed close together and limited room to move, especially during peak hours. The pool has only three narrow lanes, making lap swimming difficult when more than a few people are using it. The locker rooms are also limited, with around 6–8 showers and only a few bathroom stalls, which can lead to waiting. While the gym may be convenient for some, the limited space and capacity make it hard to use the facilities comfortably or consistently.

One of the nicest LA Fitness I’ve attended. I have visited many locations in many states and hands down this is the nicest one I’ve seen. The facility is clean, organized, and overall not too crowded. Definitely wished my local LA fitness was like this one!

My brother and I spent the entire day looking for a place to play basketball, and we decided to try this gym using their FREE 3-day pass. We drove all the way to the Farmington location, which is already pretty far for us, only to be told we had to pay for the “free” pass. After explaining that our goal for the day was simply to use the basketball court, the employee took our money and only THEN told us that there was no basketball court available. At that point we had already wasted a long trip for nothing. The manager/employee apologized for the miscommunication and told us we would be reimbursed the next business day since we never got to use the gym for what we came for. Two weeks passed with no refund, so I called back. The same person who promised the reimbursement suddenly told us we couldn’t be refunded and that there was nothing they could do, even though they clearly told us otherwise before. Overall, terrible communication, misleading information, and extremely unprofessional service. We wasted time, gas, and money for absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I had a great experience with initiation. I started with a 7-day trial, but was apprehensive about some of the fees. Mariana, the representative that helped me, was very understanding and helped me through all of my concerns. She toured me around, and gave me the best deal possible. Before this I was shopping around other gyms, and ultimately decided this was the best one for me. I'm honestly really thankful for the representative that helped me.. Mariana really took care of me!
