KEEP IT MOVING - New Orleans

Horrible. The pro - they move pretty quickly. The cons- they destroy your furniture. I gave them blankets and wrap they didn’t use. They irreparably damaged antique furniture, broke legs off of chairs, smashed a small fridge, the list goes on. We told them they needed to take apart the antique armoire to move it and they didn’t so it cracked in several places and wouldn’t go back correctly. I told them before they came out the situation with that piece of furniture. Several pieces of furniture were damaged and I submitted to their claims department which I don’t think actually exists. They will not get back in touch. Several pieces were damaged beyond repair. I had them load a truck trailer that was taken out of state. I waited until we unloaded and gave their “claims” department about 4 months before leaving this review.

Everyone from John Michael... Matthew and Leigh Ann....to Josh and Amir did a fantastic job!! Easy to work with.... accommodated all the snafus that came up!! Cared for my belongings like it was their own!! I highly recommend Keep it Moving and hopefully you'll have the same great success I did!!!

Caleb and David were awesome. They moved a bedroom set for us and did a great job. They were careful with the furniture. Most of all, they were professional and very polite and respectful.

They sent their office administrator who couldn’t lift heavy boxes or furniture and was double timing by doing office work**** Please read this if considering this company. I hired them because they quoted an affordable price - I only needed 1 mover for about an hour but agreed to their 2 mover 2 hour minimum. I also did not need their truck or transportation services. Upon their arrival it was clear that they only sent one mover. The other person was the office administrator who could not lift heavy boxes or furniture. It took her about 15 minutes to attempt to bring my mattress down one flight of stairs, which was then dragged across grass and concrete pavement. This should be a very simple task for a mover right? She then complained of her knee injury, saying it was impossible for her to life heavy objects or move up and down stairs. She had difficulty walking straight following just a two trips up and down the stairs. There was sweat profusely dripping down her face within minutes. About 30 minutes in, the other (actual) mover instructed her to stop moving boxes altogether. We stepped in to help him/move my things ourselves as it was clear she physically could not complete this job. She proceeded to do administrative work on her phone for the company, which she informed my family about, and said that she was clocked in at the office while also “doing my move”. She then admitted she had never moved anything before and they sent her because no other movers were available. I was in such shock that this company would legitimately do this to someone who requested their services. I only needed one mover in the first place, so one guy would not have been a problem. However, they then tried to charge me an additional $500 when they were leaving! They only stayed for one hour. When I told her her price was wildly inflated and incorrect, she told me her boss would call me to settle this. I never received a call, and my card was authorized for the charge they completed without a receipt, signature, or permission. I tried to do a charge back, but because I provided my ID and signature for the deposit, it was denied. I paid $500 for one guy for one hour. This is not an exaggeration. Beware!

Friendly, professional, fun, and great to work with! The team of four that we had worked fast and had a good time doing their jobs. From the first phone call to LeighAnn to clicking the job complete button, the move easy and somehow enjoyable! Can't say thank you enough!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! They did a short move for me and damaged a bed. Photos were taken, which are time stamped from the time of the move. I was told by the movers that the manager would call me the next day. There was no call from the manager. I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the manager for over a month. Emails and phone calls are not returned. The owner and manager is Jon-Michel Buras. "F" rating on the Better Business Bureau.
