Kevin at House 2 Home: Handyman Services provided excellent service from start to finish. He replaced an old faucet and realigned a bifold pantry closet door for me, and the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. Replacing the faucet was not an easy task. The existing unit was 14 years old, and many of the components were rusted and worn. Despite the condition of the old hardware, Kevin worked through the challenges methodically and removed it without causing any damage. The new faucet was installed cleanly and functions perfectly. The bifold pantry door had a broken bottom pivot, which was causing it to sit out of alignment. Kevin clearly explained the issue and walked me through how the hardware functions before starting the repair. He was generous with his time and knowledge, taking the opportunity to share insight into his trade rather than simply completing the work and leaving. When we determined that the bottom pivot needed replacement, he even took the time to go with me to Home Depot to pick up the correct part. He then installed the new pivot and carefully realigned the door so it now opens and closes smoothly. His attention to detail was evident in the final result. Additionally, when he learned that the work was for my mom, he reduced his price and arranged an earlier appointment so she would not have to wait on the repairs. That level of consideration and flexibility speaks to his character and professionalism. He was punctual, organized, and cleaned up thoroughly after the work was completed. Communication was clear throughout, and he followed through on everything discussed. Kevin is absolutely wonderful and does phenomenal work. He was able to assist with installing my new Ecobee Smart Thermostat when I wasn’t able to get it done myself. As soon as he heard my HVAC wasn’t running correctly, he came right over and knew what the fix was right away.
