I had my Quadra fire installed in November 2022. I have burned several cords of wood over the last years. Last night the tubing at the top started leaking smoke & crackling right where the tech left a 8mm gap on the right (pictured). It started smelling terrible & had to kill my fire instantly. The tech on the phone also told me they should’ve put a direct 90 degree corner because it’s much more efficient. He told me that they couldn’t guarantee their work & it would be $235 just to diagnose it. He told me there is no way you need to clean it at the age it’s at but tried to insist to do so. Beware!

Avoid this company. Our experience was terrible, incompetence and lousy communication. A basic fireplace install, and two months in it's still not done. The office doesn't talk to its contractors, so you have to project manage -- the machine shop makes the wrong size metalwork, they don't tell you when they're coming to install. A total disaster. Go elsewhere.

I had a gas fireplace and wanted to go electric. Rick walked me through the process and I was able to put in a SimpliFire Electric Insert. It looks fantastic! The heater in the insert warms my small living room nicely even though my living room has high lofted ceilings. I am really happy with how it all turned out. Rick stuck with me through some bumps along the way to get me a lovely result. Thank you Rick!

I had a wonderful experience at Hearth and Home. Rick is the best he was so kind and helpful. I was shopping for an upgrade on my current fireplace and because there services are in such demand I had some time before I could get on the schedule. He helped me come up with some existing improvements for my current unit just in time for the holidays. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and highly recommend them for all your fireplace needs.
