Guthrie's Ace Handyman Services- Nashville

We've been using a more well-advertised handy man service since moving to Nashville, until we found out about Guthrie's Ace (as in Ace Hardware) Handyman Services. Cameron Campbell came out to our house and installed a Hunter ceiling fan I had given up on, in just one hour. He was professional, friendly, and determined. We now have a wonderful working ceiling fan installed for much less than those "other guys" would have charged us. I highly recommend both Guthrie's Ace Handyman services, and Cameron.

Following the ice storm, and prolonged power outage that came with it, I had a slow leak that resulted in the bottom flooring of a sink vanity getting water saturated and leading to mold/mildew that needed promptly addressed (the vanity unfortunately only had a MDF board bottom flooring on the inside cabinet). Guthrie's was the only company who was able to fit me in the week I called, in order to do the initial removal of the water damaged/mold impacted areas to prevent further damage. I worked with Clayton, and he communicated throughout the process, doing a great job documenting the initial removal of the impacted areas of the vanity flooring and framing, in order for me to submit to my insurance. I found Clayton honest and very communicative in answering all my questions. In general, I found everyone I communicated with to be very nice and helpful. I am very thankful for the work Clayton was able to do as it prevented the water damage from spreading to the dry wall, which could have resulted in costly mitigation and further repairs if it had not been prevented.

Second time hiring Guthries and the second time was just as great as the first. Excellent service!! Jeremy was pleasant, professional, skilled and worked quickly both times and Mike was equally skilled, professional and pleasant. Very happy with the service I received and I would gladly hire them again!!

I have been exclusively using Ace Hardware for all needs home and handy man repair . I’ve also purchased numerous Big Green Eggs and a multitude of products . I recently hired them to reinstall a backdoor during the reinstall a piece was missed causing a complete door malfunction. Once I contacted them they told they would get the part and cover it . After a week they texted through our thread saying that they couldn’t get the part I needed to order it. I ordered the part no problem and when I called to inform them of me ordering the part and we send over the receipt they completely switch gears saying they will reinstall the part but won’t cover it even after there handyman installed the arm improperly causing it to not even open . Use ACE HANDYMAN With Caution I Would Suggest Taking A Task Rabbit Angi or one of those apps route they insure and guarantee there work I have photos below of the improper install where the arm was supposed to go inside of the sliding piece in the second picture

TIM JOHNSON was my handy man and his work is excellent. This is the second time he’s been my handy man and I could not be happier with his work. He hung a new dining room light, and some wall art. Everything was perfectly measured and hung securely. Bonus-he’s super nice!!
