I want to make sure EVERYONE who visits this FB in West Des Moines knows — if you’re told by Jacob ( assistant manager ) or anyone else in membership that you need to either choose a free 3-day pass OR receive a 6 month membership — you’re being intentionally deceived just to sell you a membership! When I raised the fact with Jacob that other gyms offer a free pass before joining, Jacob responded with … “well, we’re not other gyms!” I contacted another Genesis location and I was told very much differently! If you go to their across the board Genesis website; you’ll see that you will receive “get a free 3-day pass to experience our amenities before joining.” After intentionally being lied to by ( Jacob assistant manager ) just to sell a 6-month membership, while being denied to use a “free 3-day pass” before joining; we decided this gym is a NO for our family! If we were able to share text screenshots to show anyone information we would’ve done this as well … Our advice: stop being shady and scamming your prospects just to make a sale — 🙄

Jeff held a great Cycle 45 class. Class was small so I got very personalized attention. As a first time cycle-er, he took the time to set up my bike for me and was very intuitive to how I was doing throughout the class.

Been a member for years, ill be honest….mills civic locker room is so stank and disgusting on a regular basis.all the cardio machines are out dated as hell. Back near the showers. outta bounds. This place needs a deep cleaning snd renovation. Merle hay locker room is the same. Sauna all broken up and dirty. Since steve left that location its totally fell off. Hickman and south are the best locations neither have a dry sauna though.

New member here. I love the swimming pool, the two jacuzzis, the one on the lady’s locker room gives you privacy and peace. Perfect place to sit and relax. The staff is amazing and each one truly treats you with respect and care. I have just great things to say about this club. Love this place a ton!!!

I’ve been going here for over a year. ALWAYS multiple items broke or not working. Steam room, dry sauna, Hot tub, showers, parking lot lights, hot water out, training equipment, etc…they don’t stay on top of maintenance or cleaning. Here are pictures I took this morning (tops of lockers). On a good note, The staff is very good and friendly, but cleaning and maintenance is absolutely HORRIBLE! UPDATE: tops of the lockers is cleaner. Thank you. Typical Sunday tho: Hot Tub was cold, jets still don’t work (been down for couple weeks), can we please get the showers fixed? (Some have no heads & handles don’t work right…turning to hot/cold not correct), box fan…I don’t think has been cleaned in over a year, broken door secure arm. This just men’s locker room. Issues with TV, equipment upstairs broken, and vents need cleaned also. Let’s get things corrected. Thank you!
