No issue with the doctors or assistants. The care is of good quality and the cost seems in normal range. However, the issue is scheduling appointments that work for busy families with kids who are involved in extra curricular activities. I have 3 children currently in braces…some are still in braces bc of scheduling problems. No doctors on Fridays means one of the prime afternoons of the week for busy kids (with school getting out early) is gone. Because of the scheduling issues (they probably need to hire another doctor), the duration of orthodontic treatment is extended much further than it needs to be. Additionally, wait times in the afternoons can be brutal—often throwing off the whole afternoon of scheduled activities. It’s a shame because it does seem like a problem that can be solved.

My daughter has a different orthodontist - and had a wire that was too long - causing it to cut into the inside of her cheek. Because her regular orthodontist was out of town and she was in a lot of pain - I didn't know what to do and called Foothill (in tears). They so graciously offered to clip the wire so that it no longer was hurting her - fitting us in within the hour. It took a total of 5 minutes and everyone we interacted with was beyond kind/helpful. Very grateful for them - going out of their way to help us when they had no obligation or financial benefit in doing so.

We’ve had a great experience with the providers over the years my daughter wore braces. The assistants and receptionists were always kind and professional. Special shout out to Breanna who helped us during our latest appointment when braces were taken off. Thanks to a great team!

My son and I both use Foothil Orthdontics. They are great squeezing him in when he needs his braces fixed. They are meticulous with my Invisalign. Everyone has excellent bedside manner. I would absolutely recommend them! And the new office above Starbucks is beautiful!

We’ve been with foothill ortho now for 8 months- our first meeting was great with my first child- did seem expensive, but from what I was told it was comparable. Our second child went to be evaluated for braces and all the red flags started showing- $3000 for his first phase (which was ONLY a retainer). Asked how much a replacement retainer cost and they said $250. Good deal 🙄. Started to feel like our $3000 year was going towards the bells and whistles of the office (ie prizes you win for spinning the wheel like Stanley mugs, squismallows etc). Then when my oldest finally got her braces, the technician installed them initially. The orthodontist came in to see how they looked and didn’t make any corrections at all- more of a glance and “yeah they look great!”. Since that placement of her braces (only 6 weeks ago) we’ve had to schedule 3 appointments to fix the wire that has come out of the bracket or fix a bent wire. The first wire bent from eating an apple slice. The second wire fell out of a bracket while tumbling. This doesn’t seem right to have a wire bend or come out this easily. One of the times her wire bent out and was poking her in her gums and causing enough pain she was crying. I called their emergency call line since it was after hours on Friday evening, I left a message and never heard back. I CALLED them the following Tuesday to schedule an appointment. Very disappointed with their patient care and quality of care.
