FlatRate Moving

We used FlatRate Movers for our move on March 1st, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The team worked incredibly fast and handled all of our belongings with great care. Despite the challenge of moving our items down five flights of stairs and then a long distance to the truck, they remained efficient, professional, and positive the entire time. Nothing we own was damaged, which felt pretty amazing given the amount of stairs and tight maneuvering involved. They were very patient about placing boxes and furniture exactly where we asked. Moving is stressful, but they made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. The crew was hardworking and respectful; I would absolutely recommend FlatRate to anyone looking for a reliable moving team.

Exceptional moving experience from start to finish. The team was kind, professional, efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout our two-day move. Their care with packing, wrapping, handling, and unpacking gave us complete confidence that everything was in good hands. They also handled the added complexity of moving some boxes to a separate storage unit seamlessly, keeping everything organized and on schedule. FLATRATE MOVING IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I appreicate how they begin with a virtual call to visually see my inventory and assess my needs a pricing from there. Leaving no room for guessing or misunderstanding. Then the team in the office, have a no pressure approach! Of course this is business and they want you to pick them but there was no coercing, nor unrealistic promises. They respected and did all they could for my budget. They maintained excellent communication. ALSO, the movers that arrived were not a third party, but the same company!!! That is super important for consistency. The movers arrived early, which threw me for a second, but they waited, until the given time window and got right to work. The 3 man team was super efficient, kind and competent. I definitely recommend 10 out of 10!

We just finished our move through Flatrate, and it’s experiences like this that restore your faith in how things can be done. I’m here writing a review for that very reason. From the rep who helped us set up the move — Bernard, who was incredibly helpful — to getting the COIs for both buildings, to the crew themselves, everything was seamless. Lucian and his team were not only considerate with our things and easy to work with, but genuinely kind people. They moved our entire apartment from Brooklyn to the Upper West Side in less than half a day. The truth is, we had such a great experience that we actually called to make sure the team was recognized for their hard work and personal care.
