This gym was the best i have tried in sf and oakland that fits all I wanted for a gym. It had all the machines and equipment I was looking for and space did not feel crowded. But even better is the staffing, I have been going to Mid market for almost a year now and I have not regretted a second. Alex stood out to me the most, not only because of his character but his approachable nature. He got to know my name and actually initiated conversations with me. He made this gym more welcoming than most and I feel he is a big part of why Mid market as become so popular.

I usually work out in the mornings at Fitness SF Mid Market and the place is always clean and well-maintained. I regularly see staff wiping down equipment and keeping the gym environment tidy. It may not be as big as Fitness SF SoMa, but it has everything I need. I’ve been to all the Fitness SF locations in the city, and the Mid-Market staff are the friendliest in my opinion. Special shout-out to Alec at the front desk - he always greets me with a smile and great energy. It really makes the gym feel welcoming.

I want to give a special shout-out to Alex at the front desk. He does an excellent job every time I’m there. He’s always friendly, attentive, and genuinely willing to help. No matter what the issue is, Alex always finds a way to solve it quickly and with a great attitude. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel so welcome and taken care of. Great customer service like his really makes a difference. Thank you, Alex!

I've been working out here for the past few months, and I've had a great experience. I love walking in to a warm welcome from Alec (front desk) and lots of useful machines available + squat racks. Other regulars are polite, keep the equipment clean, and wait their turn or ask to work in. My subscription also gives me access to other great gyms across the city, including Soma and Fillmore, which are open until midnight.

I've worked with many great trainers, but none of them comes close to Steven Luibrand! Steven is incredibly passionate and applies his expertise, knowledge and mindfulness to suit whatever my body can handle that day. Every workout is fun with him and he not only has an extensive repertoire of exercises, he also possess a great sense of humor. You would be lucky to have him as your trainer!
