I had a very difficult move, on one of the coldest days, Tuesday 1-27-26, eagle movers came, specifically Antonio, Dontell, and Martin, these gentlemen were very kind and professional...great job

Company was hired by the city of Milwaukee in regard to a foreclosure which was a misidentification and illegally done on my private property. They first came to my house and took all my designer coats, shoes, and purses. They claimed to have emptied the house but did not because my belongings wasn't outside. Then they sent me an invoice and tried to make me pay for "storage" which is a form of extortion. A few days later they when they came after I acknowledged there was no way for them to have removed all of my things, they lied about the time they were coming and stole money that was in the house. Eagle Moving & Storage admits in its own response that it had possession, custody, and control of my property and acted as an agent in this operation. That admission alone establishes responsibility under bailment law. Being “directed” by the Sheriff does not absolve a private company of liability for missing property, theft, improper handling, false statements about completion of work, or unlawful storage charges. A moving company still owes a duty of care to safeguard property and return it in the same condition received. My designer coats, shoes, purses, and money were not returned. I was later invoiced for “storage” of items I did not consent to being stored. This is conversion and unjust enrichment. Telling me to contact the Sheriff does not resolve the fact that Eagle Moving & Storage had physical control of my belongings and failed to return them. I am seeking accountability and restitution for my losses.

Met with David today. Real friendly professional guy. Came to my apartment. Gave me a quote. I had an offer from another company that was lower than his and he advised me to take it. No games, no drama. Very honest, decent guy!

Just moved today, a big move that filled the truck and took a full day and then some and our team lead by Holly worked their butts off while being kind, fun, careful, and conscientious (of fragile items, art, etc). They had to take apart some furniture to get it in and put it back together perfectly. A great experience with a pleasant team. Would hire again for any move
