Denver Health Downtown Urgent Care

Due to loss of my voice, I went to Denver Health Downtown Urgent Care for the first time. Staff I encountered-- the security guard, nurse, and provider-- were all professional and kind people. Plus, the facility location is very convenient and service is prompt. However, the only diagnostic lab taken was for strep throat (negative results) and I was basically "sent home." The only recommendations I received were to "use my voice as little as possible" and to "buy some over the counter cough drops." Therefore, nothing was diagnosed nor did I actually receive help for my condition. My time here was ultimately wasted.

The front desk asked what I was coming in for and I mentioned abdominal stomach issues. Once I got to see the provider, the provider explained that they don't have access to diagnostic tools beyond a urine dip test. I was then offered a Maalox drink and suggested I go to their 660 bannock adult urgent care the next day if I wanted to get a more comprehensive diagnosis. This location should have been more transparent upfront that their location had limited tools to help diagnose abdominal pain. I would have gladly gone to their 660 bannock adult urgent care had I been advised before starting the visit. I expect to be billed $175 since I saw the provider. Inconclusive visit, a quick buck for the organization, and a poor use of my time and money.

Such kind and compassionate people! Probably the best urgent care experience I've had. One of the nicest parts was.the check in. No one wants to mess with oodles of forms or like other places, have to scan a bunch of QR codes to check in when they dont feel good. A real person takes your insurance card and ID does all of thar, asks some confirmation questions and that's it. Nurses kind and the PA was great. Fast in and out even though they told me it might me a wait. Deserving of the high ratings.

Cannot recommend this urgent care enough. I came as a walk in with palpitations and everyone treated me with so much kindness and compassion. I was seen and referred to the larger ER very quickly for extra tests. A huge thank you to Dr Beato and Nurse Christine for being so kind to me during a scary time!

I just came from the urgent care at 15th in California. And I just wanna say that I have never left a review for an emergency room or any kind of medical place ever, but the girl that helped me, her name was Christina, she was by far the nicest person. That I would ever expect to encounsir anywhere. Anywhere she made me smile the whole way home and then when I got home. I had to call down there to tell the staff to tell her that she is amazing. If I was a millionaire I'd give her a raise and buy her car. Thank you christina you are awesome
