Definition of Fitness

I just started training here with my trainer. This gym is clean, well stocked with all the equipment you need and more. It's a good size space with a lot of windows looking out into the city which is nice. Parking was super easy. Looking forward to more training sessions here.

I've been training with David even before Definition of Fitness, and was happy when he started his own unique gym! DoF is an intimate setting for 1x1 personal training without having to wait for equipment and dealing with crowds. David is also amazing because he's so knowledgeable about training, and has helped me with my fitness goals (I'd never done strength training before), and helped me recover quickly from a few injuries. Best of all, DoF has built a great community of fitness-minded people and great trainers!

I’ve been working out here since they opened and absolutely love it! Fatima motivates me like no other trainer has ever done, and helped me get to a stage where consistency in my workouts comes naturally. David is always cheerful and attentive to all clients in his classes, to a point that it gives me the feeling of a one on one session. Highly recommend this place!

I’m not an athlete, nor athletic (yet!) but keep coming back to Definition of Fitness for Fatima's classes and personal training. Over these past 4 months, Fatima has been an incredible coach/mentor and has given me the confidence (and education) to feel like I belong in the gym and can be successful. She has created the most inclusive fitness community I’ve found in DC- you’ll find all ages, cultures, bodies, and backgrounds - and they welcome you each class and make you feel part of her group. A huge thank you to Fatima and the Definition of Fitness family for the work they do.

I’m usually not a big fan on going to the gym but ever since I started coming to Definition of Fitness that has change completely! I enjoy coming to this gym, all of the equipments and amenities accommodates everyone there that come to work out/train. I also have the best fitness instructor EVER!!! Her name is Fatima but Tima for short, she’s literally the definition of fitness and consistency!! She will make sure to get you to your goals in the healthiest way possible! Overall I love it here!!

The gym is amazing! I lived in a lot of cities and tried out a number of gyms in DC. This is the best. All the trainers are very helpful, kind, and elevate you to another level. Every class or private training session is fantastic. The App is super easy to use, bill, and book classes. The owner David is awesome running the business, but also providing sound 1x1 training and leading great classes. Truly a gym that is great for everyone!
