This review is long overdue but google reviews were relatively new when my case went through the courts. I met with Zackeree Kelin in 2016 to discuss the wrongful death of my mother at the hands of the nursing home she resided in prior to her death in 2013. Mr. Kelin listened to my story and filed suit nearly immediately against the nursing home and their parent company. My family had struggled with the grief of losing my mother for nearly three years. My father struggled the most as he was living with the loss of his wife of nearly 50 years, and with the guilt of thinking if he’d only done more or fought harder, he could have spared my mom the pain and saved her life. Even though he was at the nursing home by my mom’s side 10 hours a day, every day she was in that horrible place. My mom’s death had taken a huge toll on him inside. When I explained to Mr. Kelin what my dad had been living with, he brought my dad into his office and personally went over hundreds of pages of evidence with him that confirmed all of the reasons that there was nothing my dad could have done differently that would have prevented my mom’s death. It was only the second time in my life that I had seen my dad cry. I watched three years of my dad’s feelings of guilt over my mom’s death lifted off of his shoulders and exit his soul. Mr. Kelin cared that much about our case and our family. Mr. Kelin and his team were steadfast in their commitment to win our case and win we did; but, the reward we cared most about at the end was the peace that Mr. Kelin and his team restored to my family. A million thank you’s will never be enough Mr. Kelin. You truly are a great man.
