Crunch Fitness - Creedmoor

Great gym with all of the equipment I needed. The girl who gave me a tour and explained each tier membership was beyond helpful. I believe her name is Ava. The only downside is how crowded it can get, but what do you expect when your gym checks every box!

Visiting from out of town and thanking the heavens right now that my crunch is nothing like this. Apparently the equipment shares weight clips so not all of the equipment can be used at the same time. The front desk tried to argue with me about it that they have enough for all the equipment but I walked around it all and counted 4 total sets. The employees also don’t maintain the weights so one bench will have 8 45s on it and the next 3 will have none for the entire night. You’re a multi million dollar business, just spend the $100 on clips

The amenities and equipment at the Creedmoor location are outstanding. The manager, Brian, and Assistant Manager, Ella, are very professional. The facility is clean. Additionally, sanitizing products are available for members to use on equipment. If you’re in the North Raleigh area, I highly recommend the Creedmoor Crunch location.

Facility seems nice but so far my experience with the staff has been pretty bad. I went to the CrunchOne Kickoff after I signed up because it was free and I mistakenly thought it would be like an orientation visit to get acquainted with the facilities, the machines, and the staff. This was wrong, all this is is a sales pitch to pay $100s more a month for a trainer. If you aren’t interested in this then the staff isn’t interested in helping you. The woman who did this kickoff with me wouldn’t take no for an answer and encouraged me to come back mid week, free of charge, to do a training session to make my final decision. I agreed, for god only knows what reason, and when I came back she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. The staff all congregate and chat and text amongst themselves and do not make you feel like you can approach them. When I finally talked with her and politely said I wasn’t going to be doing extra training at this time but asked if she could show me where the locker rooms were or how to use some of the more complicated equipment she pointed to the corner for the locker room and then told me if I wanted to learn how to use the machines I’d have to pay for a personal training session… anyways this felt extremely scammy to me and really bad customer service. My first time at a gym and I feel like I made the wrong decision with this one. Not a welcoming or encouraging environment for newcomers.

I like this gym. I started the personal training program with Darya a month ago and I am happy with the results. My workouts and butt are much better now. I do more in 30 minutes with her than I do in an hour by myself. The training manager, Noah, was essential in getting me started. She did my initial appointment or "kickoff" and set me up with Darya. The front desk staff is friendly too. The after-work crowd is thick right now, parking can be tricky. The gym is somewhere between a Planet Fitness and a Chuze but Chuze leaning.
