Create Institute of Makeup Design

I attended one of Kathy’s makeup classes in 2014 and learned so much! Kathy taught me everything I needed to know to start doing makeup on a regular basis. The kit included in the class has everything you can imagine. Now I’ve been doing makeup for 6 years and my love for makeup has only grown, all thanks to this awesome lady. She’s incredibly talented and the way she teaches makes it easy to learn. She teaches the basics and works with you hands on, one on one. 10/10 recommended.

Kathy is a Makeup Slayer! Her work is so beautiful and flawless. I took Kathy's Makeup Class in 2012 and her Microblading Class in 2017. I couldn't be more grateful for her and how it all really helped me take off in my dream career. Kathy asked me to be part of her team and it was AMAZING!! Kathy is the best in the business, and having the opportunity to learn from her and be mentored by her has been life changing. She teaches an incredibly thorough workshop to set you on the path of becoming a working artist, and gives you the tools and the confidence to leave her class ready to hit the ground running. The makeup kit included in tuition was a big draw for me— filled with brands and brushes I actually recognized and was excited to work with! The quality was insane. Because of the education I received as a student of Kathy’s, I’ve realized my dream of becoming a working makeup artist and have now been fortunate enough to see my work on the runway at New York Fashion week, in magazines, on television, and have created my own busy bridal business— all things I never imagined I’d be capable of doing, but accomplished with Kathy guiding me and my career every step of the way. So many of her students are thriving and enjoying successful careers as working artists all across the country— it’s an honor to be just one of them!

Kathy has done my makeup for over 15 years and there is NO ONE I trust more. When my BIG day came, there was NO ONE else I would trust to do my makeup! So much so, I knew Kathy had to come with me to ITALY for our wedding. To say she's amazing and that she has blessed hands, is an understatement. To know her is to love her and her work. She is first in line to learn new techniques and implement them.
