I’ve used Cavalier Moving five times over the years most recently this past month and they continue to exceed expectations. Their pricing is transparent, options are clearly explained, and scheduling is always smooth and accommodating. The crews are professional, efficient, and genuinely careful with your belongings. Their enhanced wrapping and protection services truly set them apart everything is padded, secured, and handled with precision, whether moving into a new home or placing items in storage. After five moves, I can confidently say their consistency, care, and value are unmatched in Richmond. Highly recommend. I also want to personally recognize Matthew Mangano for his outstanding coordination and communication. He made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Matthew was responsive, organized, and proactive ensuring scheduling, options, and details were clearly handled well in advance. His professionalism and follow-through removed the usual stress that comes with moving. Having someone that attentive behind the scenes makes all the difference. Truly exceptional service.

Steph and Tim from Cavalier Moving were excellent. They went above and beyond, even with the rainy weather conditions. They took care of all our furniture and our new home even when heavier pieces were brought upstairs. Super personable and super nice.

Amazing service from Steph, Keshon and Faizi, especially on an extremely cold and icy day! The crew was professional, respectful, efficient, friendly and worked well together! Also, from the office, Anthony was extremely accommodating and responsive especially with changes and rescheduling due to the ice storm. Top notch communication and patience with questions! Highly recommend!

Moved 1/6/2025 and we had the best experience with Cavalier! Our team was absolutely fantastic, professional, fun, and brilliant when it came to our move. So grateful we went with Cavalier! I cannot speak highly enough about these guys. Moving is a big endeavor and they were absolute pros. I’ve never been more impressed!

They arrived on time with a crew of three, and asked pertinent questions before they began to load my items onto the truck. They also informed me of the minimum work time requirement of two hours. I gave the okay and they began work. Loading was performed quickly and professionally. They also deconstructed and loaded my queen size bed frame. Everything was loaded well, and they also went to a nearby secondary site to complete loading without issues. The entire process took about 1.5 hours for my one-bedroom apartment start to finish. It was frictionless, reassuring, and pain free. After loading was completed, they charged the aforementioned two-hour minimum rate plus mileage, and I was given several options to remit payment. I paid with a debit card, there was a 2.75% fee (no fees for cash payment), and I received a physical and email receipt.
