Randomly searching good cafe at saltlake area and found multiple recomended videos on this cafe. We ordered one latte ( large ) and pepper bbq chicken . Both of the items were good. The cafe environment was very cozy homely. Overall good experience.

We visited that cafe recently, and the overall experience was truly excellent. The food, without a doubt, was the highlight — every dish was delicious, flavorful, and well-prepared. One of the biggest advantages of this place is its location. It’s very convenient and easily accessible, which makes it a great option for anyone planning a relaxed outing. The service quality is good, and the staff is polite and attentive. However, since the unlimited buffet is served directly at the table, it can sometimes take a little extra time for items to be served. That said, it doesn’t take away much from the overall experience. Another point worth mentioning is the impressive variety on the menu. There are plenty of options available, ensuring that everyone can find something they enjoy. All in all, it’s a wonderful dining spot and definitely a must visit for all food lovers.

We had late lunch on Christmas Day. Staff members were helpful while we waited outside for about 15-20 mins by providing information time to time. Small, but well organized eatery with tastefully decorated interiors. Food was excellent. While they took slightly more time than usual in serving our order, but the wait was worth it. I liked both the breakfast platter and the sizzler. A bit more costly than what I expected, but that’s my perception. Will certainly visit again.

We ordered Tuscan sauce prawn , chicken ala kiev, pistacchio croissant, lotus biscoff cheesecake and a fudge brownie. I loved the main courses and the croissant was to die for! The location is just 10 mins walking distance from city centre metro and right on the side of main road. Ambience was very nice too, the bathroom had an unrepaired flush and basin tap, except that everything was perfect. I feel the cheesecake was a bit hyped.

Today I’ll expose the truth behind their so-called Rs.899 ‘unlimited buffet.’ I visited Calcutta Bakery Cafe, Salt Lake, and honestly, this experience deserves a reality check. 1. The “122 menu options” scam They proudly advertise 122 items in their buffet. Sounds amazing, right? Reality? You can’t actually eat more threw or four. Why? Because every time you pick a dish, they serve you a full, non-customizable portion. No choice of quantity, no refill flexibility. This is NOT a buffet—it’s basically ordering single dishes one by one with no control. Very misleading. 2. Looks good, tastes… nope The food looks great on the plate—Instagram-worthy even—but sadly, your taste buds won’t agree. Pretty much everything tastes like frozen, reheated items. I’ve had significantly better quality even at Momo I Am, and that says a lot. 3. Taste + quality = below average If you’re expecting fresh, flavourful food, prepare for disappointment. A lot of show, very little substance. 4. Only good for groups, NOT for solo or couple diners If you’re eating alone or as a couple, don’t even think of “getting your money’s worth.” Those full portions will fill you up in one or two dishes and that’s it. The whole concept works only if you’re a group trying multiple dishes together. 5. Environment is the ONLY good thing The only positive thing I can say is that the environment is calm and good for working or small meetings. Beyond that, food quality doesn’t justify even a second visit.
