Gianna was awesome, the vibe is great and the food is delicious. This was our second visit and honestly it was better than we remembered. Sooooo good. Creative, fresh food with extremely generous portions. A+++

Some brunch cafés in Boston are popular solely due to them being brunch cafés but Landwer isn't that. Landwer offers a varieth of tasty & unique brunch items. Do make a reservation if you're planning to visit around breakfast/brunch time, they get busy! Atmosphere: 4*. it's a typical brunch café Portion size: 4.5*. Portions are pretty large, if you have a big appetite then 1 entree, 1 drink & half a dessert would be plenty Value: 4*. The items I ordered were worth the money, but the price point is still pretty high to begin with [Food reviews] Short-rib Shakshuka ($25) is my absolute favorite item here. The Shakshuka was tasty (it could benefit from having more intense flavors) but the short rib was cooked perfectly. The rib is soft, tender, and fatty -- amazing! (5*) Herb Marinated Chicken ($19) is tasty as well. Sadly the chicken was dry, but the sauce it came with helped a lot. (4*) The Landwer Pancakes ($16) looks incredibly appetizing and was very fun to eat but the pancakes were dry despite looking so fluffy. The whipped cream is great and the fresh fruits were appreciated. (4*) The Sahlab ($6) is a cinnamon-y, milky drink and was perfect for a snowy Winter day. I would recommend at least trying it out if you like spiced dessert drinks. (4.5*)

Ok, we certainly have to talk about the delightful pillow of bread they call a pita here. Lightly salted and divinely soft. Oh my goodness! Very good. Then we could talk about the challah that was used for my chicken schnitzel sandwich, which was equally as good! The sandwich was next level because of the bread. This sandwich had that moment where you went, "wow, that was a good bite" Now, I wasn't a fan of the hummus, a bit nutty/earthy for me, but that's ok. Completely made up for by the pita's goodness. Service was excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. The cafe itself reminds me of one in Paris. Long, slender, and fancy with an upscale feel. Little circular booths that would be great for a nice quiet moment as a couple!

Fantastic location on Boylston across from the Boston Public Library. Parking is easy with the plethora of parking garages within walking distance. The menu is full of fantastic savory and sweet options from healthy to indulgent. The platters (best description of the presentation) are fun and add a feast for the eyes not just the belly. The seasonal specials were on point with pumpkin spice getting its own insert. The traditional Mediterranean options were great. The shakes and drinks were more than adequate but I can't get over the atmosphere and presentation of the dishes as both made the actual food more tasty and more enjoyable. The staff were great and friendly and despite the busyness we were seated exactly at our reservation time. There was an issue where it seemed one of our dishes was never input into the system which delayed the meal of one of our party which is not a great look and obviously disappointing for an otherwise great dining experience and is the reason for the ding on the service. I would hope this was a one off issue and will not be experienced by most guests but needed to be noted. Despite the issue we would definitely recommend the Boylston outpost and revisit in the future.

We ate twice here this week during our trip. We had to go back for supper because Breakfast was so great! For Breakfast, we both got the breakfast sandwich. It's honestly the best one I've ever had. Absolutely loved it. Service at that time was impeccable!! (aug 28). Went back for supper Aug 29, evening. Ordered a chicken hummus bowl and a falafel bowl with Turkish coffee and ice Chai latte. The food was again, amazing. We were both blown away. The pita was as soft as a pillow, i kid you not. The chai latte was a delicious sweet treat. Service was good but not the same experience as the morning. Definitely a must try! You won't be disappointed.
