I reached out to this accountant seeking guidance on the estate process and final tax return for my brother, who had passed away just a month prior. I explained that he had died without a will and likely hadn’t filed taxes in recent years. Instead of offering support or understanding, the accountant responded with a deeply inappropriate comment: “If he wasn’t dead already, [you] could kill him”—referring to the frustration over the lack of a will. While I understand that estate matters can be complex and frustrating, I found this comment to be very insensitive and lacking in empathy & tact —especially considering the recent nature of the loss and the fact that she had no knowledge of how my brother passed. A more compassionate and professional approach would have been appreciated.

If I could give this business 0 stars, I would. Kerry specifically makes grossly inappropriate comments when dealing with sensitive matters such as a person passing away and handling their tax returns. Have more respect and empathy for your customers and their personal circumstances.

Kerry and her team are amazing! My husband and I each have our own businesses and are so relieved to have found BottomLine Accounting. We have had several others over the 30+ years and BottomLine are top notch! Kerry is extremely knowledgeable, prompt, thorough, thoughtful and for CRA most importantly on time and accurate. She is reasonably priced and saves us money every year. Thank you!!!

When Bottom Line Accounting took over my account, I was impressed at how detail oriented they are. Kerry made it her priority to look over all of my information and the numbers herself, and was genuinely concerned about making sure everything was done properly.
