The crew was very efficient and hard working. They were quick to make sure all things were placed in the correct rooms and offered to have rooms more settled before they left. Will definitely reach out again whenever we need movers!

I cannot recommend Blue Cow Moving enough! Our movers, Noah and Ethan, took great care of our things. They were very courteous and polite! The best movers we’ve ever had. They used floor coverings which was very nice! They also confirmed which room our furniture and boxes went into. Highly recommended!

Stay away from Blue Cow Moving & Storage. They backed their moving truck into our house, causing significant structural damage, specifically a severe fracture to the front porch fascia board, mere days before our closing date. While the movers themselves handled the situation quickly and appropriately, we had nothing but trouble from management. Despite the urgency of the situation, management was unresponsive, taking several days to return our calls. Once they did call they only offered their maximum compensation for damaged items ($1500). We felt that this sum was severely inadequate, as it was offered without a professional repair estimate, and it failed to account for the structural damage to our home, the multiple pieces of furniture damaged during the move, as well as the potential of additional closing costs incurred as a result of the incident. Concerned that this amount would not be enough to cover the property damage, we contacted our homeowner’s insurance agent who attempted to get in contact with Blue Cow and their insurance. He was given a run-around and their insurance agent refused to speak with us or with him. We were fortunate that the cost of repairs was covered by the compensation provided and that the buyers for our house were accepting of the situation and repairs. Under the pressure of our impending house sale and wishing to avoid a complex claim with our own provider, we felt forced to accept the $1500 settlement, effectively waiving our right to seek fair compensation for the damaged furniture.

We used Blue Cow moving our daughter 2 different times in Des Moines. We just used them this past Friday on the coldest day in decades. They are without doubt the best, most reliable movers we have ever used! The guys were outstanding, handles items with care and moved quickly. The communication was superior. There isn't praise high enough for these folks!! Thank you Blue Cow.
