Beaches Animal Clinic

I can't say enough great things about Beaches Animal Clinic. My former vet office closed, and my dog wasn't feeling well so I had to scramble to find an office to squeeze us in. Unfortunately, our first visit there was pretty much our last as my dog's condition was fatal, and I returned in the morning to put her down. Throughout both visits and all of my tears from the unexpected diagnosis, the staff at Beaches Animal Clinic were so kind and compassionate to both me and Riley. I can't thank them enough for their care during this time.

We want to PERSONALLY thank the amazing staff members, Kelsey, Melanie, Yazline and KRISTIE! They all deserve raises! We have visited the clinic a bit more than usual lately and they are Always there with a smile and love. Thank you all! Dr. Ramirez is THE Bomb and amazing in EVERY way. We cannot ever thank her enough for the extra care and attention and the laughter! She is one in a million! My family has taken our furry babies to Beaches Animal Clinic for 50 years.We LOVE the entire staff. They are like family who takes care of our children and us. Dr. Ramirez has become our friend, our Therapist, our sounding board, our shoulder to cry upon. Thank you to EVERYONE at Beaches Animal Clinic for your care, attention and compassion.

I really wanted to love this place because of all the good reviews, but my experience was awful. I’m not one to complain, but people deserve more honest feedback about what really goes on here. First, I brought my puppy in for her vaccines and was told her rabies shot would be given at the next appointment. Two weeks later, I came back expecting that to happen, but a different vet told me they don’t administer it until 16 weeks and said I “must have misunderstood.” I wasn’t upset about the timing itself, but being told two completely different things and then made to feel like I was the one who got it wrong left me uneasy. Then, as I was about to pay, I asked about the fecal test I had dropped off at the first appointment. No one seemed to know what I was talking about, and it took them a while to even locate the results. When they finally did, I was told my puppy had tested positive for roundworms and needed treatment. They never called to let me know, and if I hadn’t asked, I would have left without ever finding out. That’s when I asked for my puppy’s records on the spot because I knew I wouldn’t be coming back. After leaving, I read the records and saw that they clearly stated the rabies vaccine would be administered at the next visit, just as I was told at the first appointment. The lack of communication, accountability, and attention to detail here is unacceptable. I’ve since transferred care to another clinic, and even they mentioned they’ve received multiple complaints from other pet owners about Beaches Animal Clinic. I truly hope this review helps prevent someone else from going through the same experience.

I just wanted to say thank you for the kindness, empathy, professionalism, and support that the wonderful team of this clinic showed to me today when I ended up having to unexpectedly make one of the most difficult decisions a pet parent has to make. Unfortunately Moxxi’s results were worse than expected, and I appreciate Dr. Rouse and her assistant being there to talk me through one of the difficult moments ever. RIP Moxxi. 🖤🐈‍⬛🙏🏻

We are so grateful for the kindness and understanding at Beaches Animal Clinic. Our pup Nugget was not doing well and our regular vet was unable to help us. Unfortunately Nugget passed, but was able to do so with the kindness and caring of the wonderful staff at Beaches Animal Clinic. They gave us time with our sweet boy, while making him comfortable. Their compassion and understanding will be remembered always by this family.
