I worked with JC regarding my consultation/case - he was incredibly professional, responsive, and polite. He never once condescended or spoke unkindly, an issue I’d experienced with a previous attorney. He provided clear, direct, and specific guidance that helped prepare me in the best way for my case. He affirmed me in the process and reassurance never felt false nor forced. My neurodivergence and tendency to overthink never once created tension in the way he engaged with me and that meant a lot! He clearly understands Oregon Law and I’m highly impressed with him. If the other Attorneys through As Your Counsel are even half as skilled and professional as he is, there is no doubt that clientele is in the best of hands. I could not recommend JC or AYC more highly. 5/5.

JC was helpful in a timely and professional manner when I consulted regarding a contract for a wedding vendor. The process was easy to follow and he was reassuring through the dispute. I would highly recommend AYC and am coming back if need be for future legal needs.

Wow - JC really is truly a gem. He guided my husband through an unfortunate situation between a car rental company and our insurance. JC’s advice was not only clear and prompt but frankly it was entertaining to read - because he knew what he was talking about and it felt like he really cared! We legitimately read his responses multiple times because they were just that impressive. He was so accessible and his advice felt so genuine and thoughtful. Thanks to his expertise, my husband received a positive outcome with his issue - JC’s knowledge literally saved us a few hundred dollars! We highly recommend this place to anyone needing legal assistance. JC was professional, empathetic, and just overall such a knowledgeable person. Thanks again!

Very effective firm! JC's counseling was always exhaustive and personalized, and lead me to prevail in the legal matters I solicited his help. They also offer services through the Metlife Legal Plan, which is a big plus for those being covered by that plan. Highly recommended!!
