Anytime Fitness

I met with Wade the owner as a walk-in asking for a tour. Very prompt, professional, and detailed. He is not a salesperson by any means and truly looks for custom options. He easily could’ve charged me more money, but it was easy to see that is not his style. He wants people to actually feel welcome and use the facility. As someone who needs to shed a fair amount of weight, Wade made everything straightforward and with understanding.

Training with Mike made the next step in my fitness journey feel real. I went from feeling anxious and unsure about how to use the equipment and exercises, to fully understanding the purpose and technique behind each one. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and he supports you both during the workouts and outside of them. Any question you have about fitness, he has an informed answer ready. Working with Mike made me feel like I was part of a real community with shared goals, and that sense of connection made every bit of the commitment worth it. Thanks to my time with Mike, I now feel confident steering my fitness journey on my own.

I travel a lot of work, and this is one of the nicest anytime fitness I've ever visited. Facilities are clean, equipment all working. Best of all? It's on the 2nd floor with lots of windows allowing natural light to flood the gym area.

The second floor view, the large windows allowing all the natural lighting, and the nice wide open space inside makes this one of the most aesthetically pleasing Anytime Fitness locations out there. Great layout of the racks and machines. Focused, respectful working out inside by everyone. Has an accepting inviting feel for those new to the location. You can Have a great workout here and get a stand up tan!

This is my favorite Anytime location. I originally signed up in Urbandale and thought I would go there most of the time but I enjoy the machines downtown more. This location is very well-maintained. And, it smells so much cleaner than the others. When I first started coming here, I was worried about the dents in the floors from dropped weights, but they fixed those soon after. I really appreciate a gym that cares about their patrons and their safety. I also used to work out pretty late at night and always felt safe there. Now that my schedule has changed to days, I come in the afternoons and have been able to meet Colleen, the Operations Director. She helped me look for some missing earbuds. And Quentin, one of the trainers is always welcoming when I visit. The staff is amazing! They're easy to talk to and you can tell that they truly care about everyone's well-being. This location is slightly on the smaller side but they have the most advantageous selection of weights and machines. Everything is properly spaced out so that you're not on top of each other. This place makes me want to work out, and like it. I can't say enough good things.
