Moved to RVA a few months ago and started at a gym a bit closer to home. I switched to Anytime fitness and like it so much more. It’s not a big gym, but they have what you need, including a dead lift platform, benches, racks, weight machines, and cardio equipment. They also have a green space where you can do functional fitness, TRX, kettle bells, etc. There are two shower/bathrooms available plus an additional third bathroom. I have yet to use, but I totally will if I need to (ie private and clean). The staff have been wonderful as well. I got connected with a trainer who is knowledgeable, motivational, and fun to have sessions with. People are there to workout and are respectful of others’ time and goals (ie, no one just sitting on a piece of equipment on their phone between sets!). I was really worried I wouldn’t find a gym with good equipment and a good vibe, but AF has fit the bill!

To say this experience was amazing would be an understatement. Truly one of the sweetest people there, including the person who helped me lost, Melvin. It is such an amazing place and feeling to be in, not just any normal gym. I truly would recommend coming here no matter the level.

Very nice gym, has everything you would need and plenty of parking in the shopping center where it's located. Went with my buddy Scott to get a lay of the land as I'm considering transitioning gyms and was greeted by the manager Melvin who was extremely helpful and walked me through what the gyms offers and pricing. Overall really great experience!

I came to this gym as a visitor. This gym was well equipped, clean and had a homelike feel to it. A special shoutout to Andrew, the gym manager — he’s amazing! Super friendly, professional, and was willing to help with questions and make sure I felt welcome. You can tell he genuinely cares about the members and the atmosphere here.

Dropped in here as a visitor, and found the gym to be really well-equipped, not too crowded, and very clean! Several racks/benches, good cardio area, stretching zone- and looks like they might even offer group classes (though I wasn't there for a class). Had a great workout, and really recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great place to workout.
