I should have listened the other reviews as a sign of the inconsistency in both service and food. The service here is slooooow. First visit When I arrived, there were three greeters who seemed unsure of what they were supposed to do. Once seated, I was immediately helped by a server named “Z.” Zailey was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. She took my order quickly. I ordered a simple hamburger with tots. Despite there being only three or four tables occupied, the food took longer than expected. It arrived well presented, though one item was missing, so not a big deal. The food tasted good, with no overpowering flavors, and I was satisfied overall. Second visit The front experience was the same, two greeters who appeared unsure of what to do. After being seated, I was helped by a young man who was clearly new but doing a great job. He asked all the right questions and handled the order well. I ordered chicken tacos with refried beans. The presentation was good. The chicken and toppings were good, not great, but acceptable. The tortillas tasted store-bought, and unfortunately, the refried beans had a fast-food, powdered taste similar to a well-known low end chain. Third visit This time I was greeted by four staff members who all stared at me without saying anything, they had that deer in headlights look. After finally being seated, I waited long enough to read the entire menu, scroll social media, and watch a couple of videos. There were only about three tables occupied. I was seated behind a large table, and the server walked past me multiple times before going to the front to chat with the greeters. I made eye contact with him, and only then did he come over. He said, “Sorry, no one told me you were seated in my section,” despite walking by three or four times. That explanation was hard to believe. The food that night was terrible, possibly a different cook. The order came out completely wrong, with items I specifically didn’t want. The bacon was dried and burnt, the meat was overcooked and dry, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in burnt or overly hot oil. It’s surprising how much things can change from one day to the next….but not in a good way.

The food was very good. The service was even better. Geronimo is a great server, very tentative and very friendly. The biscuits have great flavor, flakiness, and texture, but are on the dry side if you let them sit for too long. Great place on the riverwalk for good food, a good atmosphere and open 24 hours (or so the sign says).

This was not our 1st choice but stumbled upon it while visiting San Antonio. We will definitely be coming back with Our Friends & Family. We had the BEST waitress by the name of Halle. It's so nice to get Great Customer service in 2026. She was so friendly and helpful with Our menu choices. Thank You for a great breakfast!

First time here. Found it in a search Not too bad for a Sunday morning as far as the wait. Our server, HALLE was incredibly amazing, super sweet and attentive. She kept us up to date on all the wait times between tickets. We still got our food out in spaced out intervals, but it was perfect for what we were ordering. Halle spent a few minutes with us telling us about her experience in a big city and was just so down to earth. She's an great asset to Alamo biscuit. Will definitely be back 🥳

We had a 15 minute wait around 10 am on a Saturday so that was not bad at all. The service was great. We had Halle and a trainee they were both very sweet and helpful. Halle was teaching the trainee all the things but the trainee was very slow with simple things so I hope she learns and grows! The food was fantastic. Big portions so we had leftover. Their brisket Sandwhich and protein bowls were good! The kids enjoyed the sweet breakfast options. The ambiance was cool, it’s a few days before Christmas so the trees and simple decor was neat to have around.
