First of all, I want to preface this review by saying what a great team they have at ABBA Movers. I work in customer service, and I know from my own personal experience that sometimes things happen and things can run late, but it’s really about the recovery that you do for your customers when things go wrong, and ABBA went above and beyond for me and my husband. We had scheduled an 8 AM move, but issues with their truck caused them to run several hours late. But they kept in touch with us the whole time and communicated updates very well. And when they arrived to perform our move, they even brought extra guys to help and only charged us for the original two that they had quoted us in our quote. The team was so nice and so efficient. We moved from a bottom floor quadplex shotgun in Mid City to a 14th floor high-rise in the CBD, and we are having trouble with our key fob not working correctly, and the team was so patient as we dealt with that. They were fast, friendly, and efficient and transparent with the price, and the final price was on the low side of the range they gave us in the original quote. I would recommend this Company to anyone due to their transparency and pricing, great communication, and efficient friendly team.

Don’t rely on ABBA Movers if you have a tight timeline—they called me less than an hour before their arrival time to cancel because they didn’t have staff for my move. I needed to be out that day, and they offered no remedy other than rescheduling to another day, which I couldn’t do. When I called their office, the scheduler actually had no idea the mover had cancelled and offered no solution again. I booked with another moving company who came same day and did a phenomenal job. A booking is no guarantee they’ll actually show up—I booked this two weeks in advance.

We have used Abba Movers multiple times over the years. Probably 5 times in the last year for both business and personal moves. They ALWAYS do a great job for us - professional, polite and always helpful. This last time the team was David, Daniel and Zhi. My wife and I really appreciate the care they give us. This picture of an empty POD which we had two of them full to the max (Daniel can pack a POD). Both Pods were empty and moved into our home in 2 hours. Pretty unbelievable to be honest. They also made sure everything was positioned where my wife wanted it. Thank you! Charles

If anyone is looking to experience the move from hell, these are your folks. I have never experienced more incompetence in my life. I have already left a poor review on Facebook. I plan to do so on every social media platform I can as well. Furniture not wrapped with stains now. Items disassembled and not reassembled, and I have no idea where the parts are. Our bed almost fell apart last night because the bolts were put in but not tightened. I could go on and on. This is our third move like this and hands down the worst experience we’ve had. Do not walk away from this company, RUN AWAY. What a joke of a company.

I've used them twice so far. The first time was a local move, everything was wrapped for protection and reassembled as needed. The second time was a move to a storage facility, again everything was wrapped and loaded/handled with care. Would definitely recommend and I'd definitely use them again. Also, their prices are definitely competitive, I hope they don't raise them.
