I am posting a follow up because I still have not received any response after following the instructions in 24 Hour Fitness’s reply to my original review. Your response told me to reach out through the contact link. I did that immediately and never received a reply. I was also told a manager would call me back(Rockwall location), and that never happened either. At this point it appears the public response was simply for appearances rather than an actual attempt to resolve the issue. To be clear, I signed up for a one year membership for $275 and specifically chose that option because I knew I would be moving. At the time a manager assured me that this was noted and that I would not have to worry about renewal or cancellation. Despite that assurance I was charged another $275 for a membership I do not use and cannot use. Since then I have tried calling, emailing, visiting a location in person, and submitting a request through the link you provided. None of these efforts have resulted in any follow up or resolution. The Mesquite location I used has also closed which makes the situation even more frustrating. Charging a customer $275 for a membership they were told would not renew and then ignoring multiple attempts to resolve it is unacceptable. I am again requesting that 24 Hour Fitness refund the $275 renewal charge that should not have occurred in the first place. If this is not resolved I will be forced to pursue other options including disputing the charge and filing formal complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies. I would still prefer to resolve this directly but that requires someone from 24 Hour Fitness to actually respond.

$900 in unauthorized charges and counting.... Update 3: 01/15/2026 Despite the comment below and in fitting with the pattern of this organization's negligence i have had ZERO follow up, ZERO refund processed despite Prav's (GM) assurance that it would be processed within two days it has been 9 days since our 01/06/2026 conversation. Moving on to the FTC and Texas AG. Stay tuned.. Response to 01/14/2026 comment below: I have already submitted my complaint through your contact_us portal. I have received no response. Respectfully, I have no reason whatsoever to trust your organization will do what you say you will. Until I see direct action taken I will act accordingly. So far ive spoken with The BBB and will be moving onto the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Given the reviews ive seen on BBB about your organization there is a clear pattern of incompetence in billing and signing clients up for commitments they expressly didnt ask for. Update 2: 01/13/2026 GM has been noncommunicative for over a week as of today. I've involved the district manager to attempt to get this issue resolved. Update 1: 01/12/2026 So now it turns out they signed me up for 90 day commitments despite knowing I wasnt going to be in town for that long. The GM was told this, the desk staff was told this. They also spelled my last name AND email wrong. Original post: 01/11/2026 Started going in May last year. Things were great. So great i set up training sessions. There was a miscommunication and I got 30min instead of 50min sessions. No biggie. I was assured id be refunded within 5 days. Found out they didnt do that. They charged me again a month later. Was about to set up more sessions with my trainer last week because he was great but I refused until the charges were reversed. I was assured by the GM he would handle it and I made it clear NO FURTHER CHARGES OR SESSIONS OF ANY KIND UNTIL THE REFUND. Today I woke up to another charge I didn't authorize. Were up to $900 in charges I explicitly didnt authorize. To add insult to injury the associate at the desk was too busy talking over me to hear what I was saying. They hung up. So rather than working with their fantastic trainers ill be on the phone with my bank trying to dispute charges.

Had a great experience at the 24 hour fitness at 11100 N. central. My wife overheated from the jacuzzi and the worker Alonzo jumped into action got us a water and an energy bar to help us get her back to herself. A quick Dup in the pool and she was good to go. Im grateful for the help he provided.

The gym has outdated equipment that hasn't been updated. It's unbelievable that the Hammer Strength Seated LED Press and the Life Fitness lower quadriceps machine, among others, have been out of service for several months. What's happening with the quality of service?

I don’t think any of the 5 star reviews are real. This place is disgustingly and poorly managed. Great amenities, but nothing has been cleaned theres serratia marcescens growing in the steam room , MAJOR HEALTH CONCERN !!! Manager saying I need to put “5 stars” to work out with a free pass is wild. and No reason 4 people at the desk but trash is spilling over, restrooms not stocked, lots of inoperable equipment. OSHA needs give this place a visit.24hour fitness and not even open 24hrs… 👎
