📍Petit Oiseau, Osu Been to petit oiseau twice this month and I’m surprised it took me this long to come here (my first time was earlier this year). The food is so consistently good everytime. It’s on the pricey side but they deliver everytime so I’m not complaining. I had dinner with my friends on Friday night because I only recently found out there’s a live show (band) every Friday from 7pm and now that I’ve decided to be a little antisocial, I prefer this over being in town (if you see me anywhere though, 🤫). Good music, good food in a very nice restaurant. Because again, like me, my friends are foodies we got a number of starters and mains to share. We had the •Cassava and Hummus Dip - 100 •Goat Espetada - 140 as starters, •Pan-seared Grouper fillet with spicy brown rice - 260 •Steak au Poivre with Sauteed Potatoes - 320 •Shredded Pasta - 290 •Grilled Chicken with Couscous - 250 as mains, and for drinks •Aphrodisiac - 120 •Rachel Rose (white wine) - ¢560 That chicken and couscous does it for me EVERY time! For drinks we tried the xxx and then split a bottle of wine. They have very good options from ¢ to ¢. It’s a central location, so it’s a great starting point for a night out, you can literally walk around tile corner to alley bar. We didn’t need to reserve, but it does get booked sometimes so i would absolutely recommend it. They’re open Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 10pm! Ibis Styles has a Ghanaian themed every Sunday from 12:30pm to 4:30pm! The buffet features many different Ghanaian foods like fried yam (favorite), kelewele (also favorite) and jollof! There’s even a live fufu station and fresh coconuts. There are Ghanaian drinks included in the buffet like sobolo (hibiscus), asana and palm wine. Accra’s newest fine dining restaurant officially opens tomorrow🥰! This is Lamu,an African Fine Dining Restaurant inside Belrose Place,in East Legon. The menu here is strictly African with a boujie twist, absolutely love it! I had a tasting here last weekend with my friends and literally everyone loved the food. Crowd favorites were the guinea fowl tacos, lamb roast and the barbecue chicken salad! The views of east Legon from each floor (there are 2) are lovely, you can see pretty much everywhere! Everything on the treehouse is perfection, I’m not sure you guys know just how much. I did lunch here last month and I had the •• Spicy Chicken Skewers (¢140) •• Sautéed Squid (they give you the option to have squid as a side! We went to Barndoor, which is more popular for its Thursday game/trivia nights (very very fun, I’ve been twice). Fridays are super chill nights with a live DJ. We had beers and cocktails (they make their own beer AND spirits, and because the three of us are foodies we ordered a lot of food to split. We got the crunchy fish tacos, the bbq pizza, the seafood platter, chicken wings, beer battered fish and the double date hot dog which is super loaded!
